Pillows need to be updated on the beds. Not comfy enough - ( I am a Global pillow rater and it makes all the difference to a great night’s sleep 😴 !! ) xx
Really enjoyed my stay here. And I did have an absolutely fabulous room with its expansive terrace overlooking the sea and marina. So special. My one suggestion is that the bed mattress possibly be replaced with one that is newer/more comfy. In general, I loved all that the hotel has to offer... including an easy walk to the Spilia restaurant where there are rocks and a ladder from which one can slip down into the sea. I did this as a nice morning swim. Lovely.
I wish that the hotel had some more options for an aperratif and snacks in the early evening. This would be a nice offering.
Εξαιρετικό πρωινό και μοναδική τοποθεσία, το καλύτερο σημείο στην Ύδρα! Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατο και πολύ εξυπηρετικό, ανταποκρίθηκε σε οποιοδήποτε αίτημα τυχόν είχαμε. Το κτίριο του ξενοδοχείου είναι ιστορικό και πολύ καλά διατηρημένο. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν πολύ ευρύχωρο και γενικά η διαμονή μας υπήρξε άψογη.
Ίσως οι εγκαταστάσεις του δωματίου (πρίζες, διακόπτες, φωτισμός, minibar) και ο εξοπλισμός του μπάνιου ο οποίος φαινόταν λίγο απαρχαιωμένος. Λεπτομέρειες οι οποίες δεν μειώνουν την αξία του καταλύματος, ούτε το επίπεδο εξυπηρέτησης που ήταν εξαιρετικά.
Fantastic location, brilliant balcony overlooking the harbour and the super yachts, awesome breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and professional. Porter to collect our cases from the ferry and for the return was a bonus.

Utrolig fint, rolig, god plass, vakkert bygg og herlig atmosfære. Vi hadde privat balkong med fantastisk utsikt og god plass. Historien sitter i veggene og det er verdt et besøk.
Unglaublich schönes Gebäude mit einem Blick auf den Hafen, der unvergleichbar ist. Das Frühstück war ein Traum! Das Interior sehr schön.

Hydrea Hotel is a stunning, high-end property right on the port of Hydra. The view from the terrace is incredible, overlooking the harbor and town. The location is unbeatable—you’re just steps from all the restaurants and shops.
The architecture is beautiful, the place is spotless, and the atmosphere is both luxurious and welcoming. The hostess and staff were wonderful, attentive, and professional.
