Pros:

Nice view from balcony. It had a washer, but no instructions in English. This would have helped a lot! Also, better directions for picking up the key would have been great. We enjoyed having lots of space, and good AC.

Absolutely Stunning
Pros:

Superb modern apartment with large balcony and great sea views. Well appointed kitchen area, separate bedroom, large shower and fantastic lounge area with large confortable sofa. This is also a great location. I had stayed a few days in Batsi because I thought the beaches there would be better but there a several grey beaches within easy walking distance which I think are better than those around Batsi. More secluded and less crowded. In fact, in October I had some to myself. And Gavrio is only a 30 minute walk away for easy access to the ferry or if you need admenities. Fantastic, friendly hosts too. Perfect place for holiday.

Excellent place to stay on Andros
Pros:

We went to Andros as part of our vacation (excellent island, far less touristy than Mykanos, Santorini). Aithra Apartments is on Agios Petros (St. Peters) beach, one of the best on Andros. The apartment was lovely--spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, maid service (which is often not offered when you stay in an apartment-type place), spacious bathroom, kitchen, washer, drying rack, private balcony and porch to watch the sunset. There is a tavern where you can eat each day if you wanted. The owners pick you up at the ferry and drive you back and work with your schedule. They go beyond the call of duty--while there, our daughter who is 11 got stung by a fish. She has a sensitivity to bites/stings, and I was panicking because I don't speak Greek, and we were on a small island with no car. My husband went to find the owner, who called a doctor to expect us, then drove us there, waited with us and helped talk to the doctor, got the medication from the pharmacy, then drove us back again. I've never stayed at a place where the proprietor took so much time to help--treated us like friends. If you are headed to the Greek Isles, stay here!
