Drove area 4x and spare inexistent. The contact number was constantly hang up and eventually phone turned off. Messaging system said to wait a few days before any response and it’s been 3 days later still no response. Luckily we booked another hotel 1am that night after leaving the airport at 11pm.

The hotel has been sold and is now the Silver Garden Old owner continues to advertise and take reservations and fees under Phoenicia It will be a surprise when you arrive and they dont show a reservation or that you have aleady paid.

This is a comfotrtable, convenient motel after long flights! Enjoy the meals and sightings of monkies, too!

A bit expensive. Good breakfast and WiFi. Downsides - no hot water, didn't have our booking upon arrival and not really walking distance to city

Nice value. Good Ugandan property. Assistant manager Beverly went over and above helping with procuring a cell phone to use in country.

Good location, nice room, garden setting were positives. Slow service at the restaurant is a negative, however, the food was good.

The staff was very helpful; they were always available. We always had fresh food but the meals were a little bit slow. Some of the rooms were old, small, and hard to get around. we moved to a newer room which was better. Some things like toilet seat, towel racks, and soap containers were either insufficient or loose. Smaller hotel with a nice setting; fine for a quiet night or two near the airport.

It is close to the airport and that is the only good thing I can say

Friendly staff was probably the only good thing about this place. The twin room we booked was so small can hardly fit two people in it. We asked for upgrade and paid extra and moved to a executive room which was a lot more spacious. The bed was not comfortable still. In the ad, it say the executive room has a king bed but it actually only a queen. The bathroom was just about functional but not very clean. We mainly chose the hotel because it is close to the airport but the local area doesn't seem very safe. The hotel was guarded by iron door and high walls and at night has a guard with a gun. There was nothing really around the hotel anyway so no point to go out. Wont stay the next time.

I travel to central uganda arriving to Entebbe late evening. I wanted to avoid the dangerous drive in the dark to Kampala sonlooked for a modesty priced place at the airport and found Phencia. This is my 3rd time of staying and am not disappointed. It is gated so safe,quiet clean rooms and a nice breakfast in the morning.

For a night or two, with the purpose of being near the Entebbe airport, this place will work. Wouldn't want to stay longer. The staff is very kind, the room is fine, its more the ambience of the place that is a little off. The propery is enclosed by a stone wall with barbed wire above it (sort of typically though), and is locked behind a solid metal door which a man with a rifle has to open. Man with rifle was at night, I did not see him in the morning. Garden view is more so a lawn with a cute dog, and less a garden as most people define the word. Not bad, not great. As a single female traveler, the rifle and barbed wire took me off guard but -again, the staff was very nice and for one or two nights, its not bad. They make great homemade pita bread at least! :)

I had a very early flight out of EBB and did not want to go all the way from Kampala in the middle of the night, therefore I booked this hotel. It keeps what it promises, is fine for transit and has a great rate. Staff is very friendly and internet is stable and fast!

We go to Uganda several times a year and do not like to drive to our final location late at night when we arrive at Entebbe. I found this hotel and it offered a very good price compared to the large hotels. We were very pleased with the room - comfy bed, hot shower and excellent service. The manager went and got us food at midnight when we arrived. We had a big breakfast delivered to a nice open dining area next morning. It is a great and safe place to stay close to the airport. Manager Ben was exceptional!

My experience was very good. The room is clean, the staff are polite. The Hotel is close to my office.
