Pros:

The location is good but without any plantings. No place for greenery. Children’s cries in pool echoed loudly into rooms. Air conditioning blows directly on beds and did not respond to the temperature control. Otherwise, a nice modern hotel with an excellent breakfast.

Tucan suites fue una buena experiencia lindas habitaciones super limpias con todo lo que nescesitas, una piscina disponible dia y noche y lo mejor siempre limpia, los trabajodores de hotel muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte! Tambien tienen transportacion gratuita al aeropuerto y el restaurant tiene un menu variado y muy bueno, en Peru siempre se come rico y Tucan suites no es la exepcion! Lo recomiendo mil un pequeño hotel con todas las comodidades , de la selva su tucan suites

Muy buen hotel para ir en pareja o amigos. Buen desayuno y hay algo diferente cada día. Así mismo, hay atención en la piscina y es rápido. Lo recomendaría bastante.

A bit too pricey and noisy, loud music with cheap speacker going all day, if resting is what you look for I would think twice, rooms face the pool so noise is constant, Had to call front desk and insist to have some people in the pool at 11pm stop making noise.
Staff very friendly and food is very good.

Pros:

Shower was not that clean. Water pressure on the shower head was very weak. No wifi signal in room. Had to go to corner of balcony to get signal. Asked to change rooms but the only other room smelled like smoke.

We liked the hotel a lot. Super comfortable if you are traveling with family. The pool is a little small perhaps, especially given the angle in the photos they show. The rooms could use a little renovation, as there are some things that need maintenance and replacing like doorknobs that don't work, etc. The restaurant and bar are good. We saw rats by the pool at night, but that might be almost impossible to avoid without also poisoning the guests in Tarapoto. All in all, it was a comfortable stay for a big group.

Fantastic retreat in Tarapoto
Pros:

Huge room with large balcony! Great service, clean. My only problem was that the in-room safe was not usable. Fast wifi. Lovely swimming pool. Excellent restaurant with interesting Peruvian/Japanese options, good breakfast with plenty of choice. Located a little away from the town centre and therefore quieter but, using the ubiquitous mototaxis, it still takes less than 5 minutes, 3-5 Sol, to get to the bars and restaurants. Though clearly a hotel pitched at tourists, worked well for business use too with the bonus of being able to relax properly between meetings.

I stayed at the hotel in two occasions and enjoyed both. I found Franco particularly helpful. He went way out of his way for me and my travel companions to make our stay pleasant. I would definitely stay again.
