Good rooms and Greens deli market in basement is better than M&S in my opinion.

The duke boutique hotel is a great hotel. It looks exactly like the pictures and the staff are so friendly and are happy to accommodate in any way they can.
Me and my partner booked the room with a jacuzzi and whilst we normally like to venture out away from hotels and explore we found that this holiday we ended up having a few restful days just on the terrace sun beds and dipping in and out of the jacuzzi all day. As a result we have come back home much more relaxed.
The breakfast selection isn’t the largest but what is there is tasty and I never left breakfast feeling hungry or wanting more.
There is also a great supermarket under the hotel that sells everything you could possibly need.
The location is very central to Gozo and taxis are cheap and quick to get anywhere on the island. We tried using uber once but the preferred app
Over the is “Bolt” and that actually worked out cheaper than Ubers.
Overall we loved the duke and if we ever find ourselves back in Victoria or Gozo we would stay there again

Spacious clean rooms with a nice small balcony. The hotel is conveniently situated near shops and restaurants. There is cheap €2/day parking nearby. Lovely staff 😊.
The staff were super friendly! Sharon’s knowledge about the island was second to none. She gave so many good suggestions and knew the best ways to get to places. Everything that was recommended was amazing! I can’t wait to stay here again!
Honestly, this is a fantastic hotel! I loved everything from the location to the bed and pillows! Great, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, and did I mention the bed? It was amazing! Good water pressure, big towels, yep. I loved it here!
I loved the hotel. I will say it’s a little weird that it’s located in the mall but it doesn’t affect anything.
Our second stay at this hotel was also perfect, from check-in to check-out. Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean rooms, and an ideal location in the center of Victoria and the island.
We would certainly stay here again on our next visit.
I would recommend this hotel as the best in Vittoria, close to the theatre and great restaurants. But then you’d all want to stay there and I wouldn’t be able to get a room… I am not sure where else to send you for a better service, friendlier staff, nicer rooms, greater location and value. So let me just say - Good luck if they don’t have any availability when you next visit Gozo.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Yes the entrance is located inside the shopping centre but it is very easy to find. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and keen to be of assistance. Our room was spacious and came with a Jacuzzi hot tub on the balcony which was an enjoyable distraction. The hotel is just a short stroll from San Gorg and Independence squares and the Cittadella. The bus terminal is just to the rear of the hotel for getting to other parts of the island. Breakfast was buffet style with eggs to order and more than catered for our needs.
I would definitely stay here if we visited Gozo again.

We stayed here at the beginning of May and had the most wonderful week.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Shanlon on reception. He took the time to find out exactly what we wanted from our stay — walking, swimming, and sightseeing — and then carefully marked everything on a little map for us: the best places to visit, walks to do, and restaurants to try. That information was absolutely priceless and helped make our week of exploring so special.
Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully comfortable, with a huge bed, gorgeous shower, and an amazing balcony complete with sun loungers and a hot tub — perfect after a full day of walking.
Every single member of staff was lovely. Breakfast offered so much choice, with fresh hot food constantly being topped up and replaced. I even mentioned that I normally have mixed seeds and nuts with my breakfast, and they kindly offered to buy some in for me!
The Duke is perfectly placed for exploring the whole island, and the local knowledge from the staff was invaluable. One particularly brilliant tip was to visit the Blue Lagoon early — we were the only people swimming there at 9am, which felt magical and was very different from the crowds we found when we returned later after hiking around the island.
A huge thank you to all the team — you are a real credit to the hotel and made our stay incredibly special.

Ideally situated within Victoria, Gozo. We found it very easy to walk into the centre of Victoria and for venturing further on Gozo we used Bolt taxis which were reliable and reasonably priced. The Hotel itself has a pleasant ambience, the staff are all well mannered and pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed the breakfast which was extensive, well cooked and presented. Staff were there to take drinks orders and any food items you might require such as boiled, poached or eggs omelette. The rest of the hot food was in a buffet type service and delicious. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are serviced daily, we were lucky enough to get a room with a jacuzzi and that is checked for hygiene issues on a daily basis with the room service. Our room was spacious with a massive bed and a lovely bathroom containing a rain shower which operated perfectly, i must also add we had nothing but peace and quiet during our stay which added to the perfection. I could not fault this hotel from the owners down, everyone was absolutely focussed on making our stay great from start to finish. We cannot highly reccomend enough a stay at The Duke Hotel and we cannot wait to get back there one day ourselves.🇬🇧🇲🇹🇬🇧🇲🇹
