Das Hotel ist für Touristen sehr zu empfehlen
Pros:

Die Lage ist perfekt für die Erkundung von Ortigia. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man kann auch Essen im dazugehörigen Gourmetrestaurant.

Great location and lobby, but the 5-star experience is missing in the details
Pros:

The location is excellent for sightseeing, with most major landmarks within easy walking distance. The first impression is very polished, thanks to a beautifully renovated lobby and entrance area. While the reception felt a bit cold, we were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and professional waiter at breakfast, who was a highlight of our mornings. The rooms provide all the essential amenities for a stay.

Cons:

The general service at reception felt quite transactional; the check-in was merely a key handover, and we had to proactively ask for luggage assistance, which is unusual for this category. We were also disappointed that the "Welcome Drink" was essentially a conditional bonus for dining at the hotel rather than a genuine, unconditional welcome gesture.
The suite lacked a "well-being" atmosphere due to the choice of materials, which felt a bit budget for this price point. The bathroom showed signs of wear (peeling paint, ill-fitting toilet seat) and lacked heating, making it uncomfortably cold in March. Furthermore, the breakfast model felt like poor value as many standard items (eggs, fresh juice) required a surcharge. Lastly, no information was given about the hotel bar or facilities while the rooftop was closed.
