The administration (and reception) was horrible.
I paid for my stay when I booked through Hotels.com, but I was charged again when I checked in. I should have been more careful, but I paid.
I noticed this double payment after returning home and contacted the hotel. Their response was slow, and they never admitted the fault and refused to refund.
I have not received the refund yet, so I decided to write this.
My colleague, who stayed for the same duration, made a reservation through another website, but his reservation was not recorded, and he needed to wait well more than an hour to check in.
All the pick-up service drivers, janitors, and waiters in the restaurant are nice and kind, but only the administration is terrible.

Don’t book this hotel from expedia. The hotel doesn’t have any direct relationship with expedia. Expedia reservations work via some third parties. So, better book the hotel directly from the hotel website or by making calls.
I was pleasantly surprised considering it was a 3 star hotel.
We were staying at room 3012. Breakfast selection was good. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I requested a prayer mat which was provided. During our stay, the hotel staff were kind enough to arrange for a packed breakfast for us, as we were going to St Martin early in the morning. The spa facility was good- but of course this is a separate cost.
The hotel is close to local amenities - the only tiny bit a of feedback I have, is that our room was situated by the pool, where there was constant music until 10.30pm. The staff did mention that if we complain then they can stop the music - however we appreciate we were not the only ones staying at the hotel, so we put up with it. and one point there was an issue with the toilet, however this was quickly rectified.
I would stay there again and I throughly recommend people staying there.
House keeping and room service is very much poor, they dont response quickly even aftet half an hour. Nobody picks phone, even they gave me reservation confirmation mail after my check iut, i had to be sure by calling them over phone.

We initially had done a search on all the major hotels in cox bazar. After narrowing the hotels to a good 2. We decided to go with hotel the cox today as it was a bit pricier thinking it will be better. The other hotel we chose was long beach hotel. So when we got to the hotel I have them the reservation itinerary number and a print out of the booking. They couldn't find it on their end. Had waited 1 hour sitting on some straight plastic seats after travelling a few hours on the plane. After we nagged them to find out what was going on they decided to make a phone call to someone and yet still there was no result. We had offered to pay them a days hotel rate with cash and had the chance to look around the hotel and in the rooms. It was awful.plastixs were ripping off the cabinets wallpapers and the paint had not been taken care of. It was really bad. There was a swimming pool as you walk in but the hotel didn't look nothing like a 5 star let alone a 3 star. I would definately recommend long beach hotel. It has class. Looks like a proper hotel. Much better. And on top of that it was way cheaper.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. The rooms were extremely dirty, and full of mosquitos. Soo bad woke up in the middle of night in pain and suffering from the bites. If you want a hotel from hell experience go ahead!
The reception attitute was not good and they said that room was not ready at 4:30 P.M. ws waited more than e0 minutes. The door card was no corrected set so I came down to resetting. The cashier do mot have enough money to change into smaller bills. And romm was not clean enough the sheet covers were not white but gray and not properly folded. And coffee cup was full of ants so I could not drink it and later on one coakrouch was invade my bed..... So I recommend you should delete this hotel from your recommend list....
