Avoid
Pros:

No proper maintenance. They do not have sufficient bedsheets in the place. Find a good hotel inside the city limits. This one is definitely not for family. No proper parking space. Prefer a hotel over such a homestay. Definitely not a star hotel.

Very cozy and homely
Pros:

Staff is humble and helps make your stay cozy.. location is a bit out of Kandy But very peaceful location to enjoy your trip..Breakfast was served in a very artistic..parking place is small and can accommodate only one vehicle.. however there is ample space outside the hotel.

Great staff
Pros:

The location is a little out of the way but the staff are excellent and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The food was good including breakfast. The hotel itself is very new and clean. I had an issue with a water heater but this was repaired promptly.

Great base for the cricket
Pros:

Booked this hotel given proximity to Pallekele Cricket Stadium - 1.1km walk away. Nice, spacious rooms, quiet location, delicious breakfasts, and the customer service cannot be faulted.

Note that it does seem to be a relatively new hotel, so there were a few minor issues, but nothing that was not rectified rapidly. Also note that booking.com's listing states that credit cards are accepted, but cash was required to settle the bill - not uncommon elsewhere in Sri Lanka, but just something to keep in mind.

Kandy Great Place to Stay - away from it all
Pros:

A great place for a quiet vacation in Kandy. If you want to get away from it all ( the hassle and bustle of city life) yet close to a busy town of Kundasala. Order your meals early and the staff will do the needful. Morning tea was served right on time and in style (good job). The Rooms on the top floor has a great view. All rooms are well furnished and with AC and a good shower.
