Great location
Pros:

Very spacious room with a great view. We could see the northern lights from behind our room. Restaurant was ok, breakfast good. A lot of free parking space. You can see Arnarstapi's main sights with a short walk from the hotel. I'd recommend the hotel over the cottages; the hotel has a much nicer view.

Cons:

Reception/check-in was a bit chaotic.

非常值得推荐！
Pros:

这次入住 Arnarstapi Hotel 的家庭小型套房，体验真的超出预期！我们三大一小入住，空间宽敞舒适，完全不拥挤，最惊喜的是每个房间都有窗户，躺在床上就能看极光，视野绝了。
傍晚抵达后直接在酒店餐厅用餐，餐食味道很不错，方便又省心。酒店位置太赞了，旁边就是港口，散步就能看到可爱的海豹，还有标志性的石桥等景点，出门就是美景，安静又治愈。无论是家庭出行还是追极光，这家酒店都非常推荐，满分好评！

Rundum zufrieden
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Cabins waren sehr gemütlich und hatten eine gute Ausstattung. Tolle Lage am Meer und Nordlichtkamera am Dach 👌war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Dass wir nur eine Nacht dort waren 😉

Stay away from the hotel restaurant
Pros:

This is not bad for a place to sleep, it is clean, rather spacious and the beds are fine.

Cons:

This is quite „industrial“ - it isn’t really a hotel, rather a motel of sorts with container-like cabins in a row from the reception. It is totally okay but not super nice. For a weekend getaway we probably should have gone elsewhere.

BEWARE Of THE RESTAURANT:
I paid almost ISK 4.000 (EUR 28) for a “rich and creamy soup with seafood” which turned out to be (quite tasty) fish broth with only three tiny slivers of probably crab meat. When alerted to this, the very friendly waitress thanked me for my honesty, which was nice but a bit puzzling. Not the dinner I had envisioned but, luckily, I had a bag of popcorn in my room so I survived ;)

Da evitare se viaggiate in inverno
Pros:

L’hotel ha una posizione fantastica ma le stanze sono piccole e non molto pulite. Non ci hanno cambiato le tazze del caffè usate e nel complesso il servizio non è stato all’altezza del costo.

Cons:

Il ristorante della struttura chiudeva alle 5.30 senza nessun preavviso nonostante ci fosse scritto anche sarebbe rimasto aperto fino alle 8.00. Questo ci ha causato non pochi problemi visto che in inverno è l’unico ristorante aperto in paese.

beautiful view over the sea, watching the northern lights right from the room and even better from just outside the room,
as well as -after only couple minutes walk -from standing on top of the cliffs .
