Location was good however train noise was unfortunate
Was meant to have a deluxe king with upgrade but didn't. Couldn't open wardrobe door fully without hitting bed, , knocked shins on hard frame moving around bed. Not clean. Stains on couch & food on wall. Smoke alarm had been removed.
Everything was great. I checked in very early in the morning and the staff came down and greeted me, handed me my key and guided me to the room.
Had a good night's sleep.
Curtain didn't cover the window all the way so a tiny bit of outside light shining in. Nothing too bothersome.
Central location. The fact that it was at the old train station.
Great location to Spark Arena. Friendly staff and easy check out. Comfortable bed.
Wet paint on door which transferred to hands, shower head could not handle water pressure meaning you couldn’t get full heat. I think it was just our room though, as previous stays had been better. Hair dryer had rubber reversion so was sticky when using it - needs replacing.
The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Modern bathroom. Access to a modern kitchen for cooking. Good location. Fantastic Indian bar/resturant downstairs. Not always open.
NOISY!!! 1st night of 3 couldnt sleep a wink until after 3:30. Doors slamming, trolleys getting pulled out of the lift. 4:30-5:00 then the trains started..By the 3rd night no slamming doors...only the train to contend with, which I didn't really mind.
Spacious room with recently renovated bathroom. Good amenities with nice little kitchenette
Very little natural sunlight
I love the quirky building with lots of character and history in it. The facilities were great. Close to shops and very central. The room was clean, beds comfortable, has air conditioning/ heat pump so we had an amazing sleep with the right room temperature. The room was big and had good storage so plenty of space for our luggages.
Noise from the train tracks outside and people making noises outside the room can be easily heard and kids were running and banging doors next door. However, not a big issue for us not to stay again.
Staff is very friendly and showed us the room. The location is good, not for from the central area.
The room is old style, doesnt have a lot of facilities. You can clearly hear other people walking or talking from thin walls.
This Apartment was very well located to walk to the centre of Auckland, it has parking avalable for the car. Good laudry facilities. Good security for entry and exit.
Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable, The Mattress sagged in the middle and was very soft. It needed to be replaced. Smells from the central kitchen area permeated the whole building and we found them unpleasant. Fortunately it did not enter the bedroom. Exterior windows needed cleaning.
great location. Room recently renovated.
Street parking although at 15 a night is still good value
The check in was super nice, I came with my bicycle and the guy at the reception was very helpful, super friendly and I really felt welcomed 🙏
The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, which makes it a good base for exploring the area. It was clean and generally well-maintained, so no complaints in terms of hygiene.
However, the rooms are situated in what appears to be an old train station building, which gives the place a rather unusual atmosphere. The walk to the rooms feels a bit creepy, especially at night, and the layout adds to a slightly unsettling vibe. It also seems like some people may be living in the building permanently, which creates a somewhat strange and mixed impression of the place.
Overall, it’s fine for a one-night stay, but for a longer visit, the odd atmosphere might make it less comfortable.
Great location, great facilities, pleasant other guests and relatively quiet!
The staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy.
They were able to accommodate our very early check in arranged on the day which we greatly appreciated.
Central to downtown . Clean and good updated room with the essentials . Good for those who are budget minded
Parking whilst value is on street and away from rooms
It was in a great location! Great, quirky building and lovely helpful staff
No complaints!
Quirky building interesting use of space
Great location for the city and very well
Priced
The communal
Kitchen was very dirty in places but it wasn’t my intention to use it.
A lot of people congregated out there back of the hotel noisy at times
