I usually don't write reviews, but I will for this one. I stayed for two weeks in this wonderful hotel in December 2023. I requested a particular room with the church view, and they accommodated for my request with ease. Location is amazing on a very quiet street. Clean, cozy, and only 10 mins walking from the red square. I highly recommend this hotel.
Love this place, very family like
Nice small cozy boutique hotel. Friendly staff, yum breakfast.
The breakfast was amazing, home made like. The service was excellent. Friendly staff, top location, very quiet! Nice room design. Our room had a huge bathroom. Location near restaurants and bars.
We will go again. Had never such a central and quiet room in Moscow.
I consider myself to be a rather hardcore-traveller due to both business and leisure activities, and I have to admit that this hotel truly deserves nothing but warm recommendations.
Room was fresh and clean, staff was polite and helpful yet not too pushy as it often happens elsewhere. Breakfast area was rather relaxing and the food was pretty close to perfection.
Should you look for a perfect location in the very heart of Moscow - this is your place. I’ve stayed at hundreds hotels during my life and this one is easily on my TOP-5 list - hands down!
This nice hotel is located in a historic building. Good facilities, convenient location. Friendly staff. Excellent mattress and bed linen. Delicious breakfast
Nice staff and location.
Breakfast needs to be «improved».
Amazing
Calme tout en étant proche du centre ville, très bien situé 😊. Très bonne cuisine, rien à redire, je recommande
Its homey ❤️
I spent 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. The location is great, since it's a 15-minute walk from the red square and very close to a street full of restaurants and bars.
Also very close to a metro station.
At the same time it's located in a very quite street and neighborhood.
Its home furnishing looks really good with some nice details and everything is very clean.
People working there are also very helpful.
Another pro is the possibility to be picked up and dropped off the the airport at any time of the day with a very comfortable car.
Stayed 2 nights over New Year holidays ( during a 15 days stay in beautiful Moscow where we experienced several hotels). We LOVED Moscow but found this hotel inadequate. Far from a boutique hotel, this place is just style and no substance.
The high cost of our room #205, supposedly superior (270eu ) did not match the poor quality of the lodging (even though prices skyrocket in this very high season, which we are aware of).
Room 205 , one of the better rooms, is actually an attic room with low ceiling where we kept hitting our head. It is obviously a recurrent problem as they have glued some plastic protection on the angles...
The Kingsize bed is made of 2 single mattresses, a bit lumpy: sheets, ripped, aren't long enough, and you are provided with 2 small single duvets rather than one king size, hardly romantic. The room has plenty of natural light during the day but lacks lighting at night (I had to ask for one additional lamp to be able to read...)
We complained and were proposed another room the next day, room 101, very small and even darker.
It appears that all rooms are tiny, and the decoration, however stylish, doesn t make them look bigger.
(Eg. room 205 has huge drapes, a huge TV set, and a console that cramp up space).
We also had to ask for a heater as the room was quite cold and the reverse a/c was too weak to warm it up!
Apart from the rooms, the reception is ok, anonymous, nothing boutique about it. Again, nothing special on December 31st or January 1st:
Last year, our hotel had champagne at midnight for guests, as well as a stocking in each room with a Russian poem and chocolates for the New Year...
All in all, we were very disappointed. Even though the staff is nice ( Ivan is a gem, and Konstantin brought us cakes when he realized we were dissatisfied with the hotel), they cannot make up for mediocre rooms.
This was the most expensive, but the least impressive of the hotels we went to (we also went to the National, which is always great, and the Crowne Plaza a few blocks from Villa Kadashi, which is a wonderful business hotel with style, superb service, good restaurant and Spa at a very reasonable price).
We were glad to leave Villa Kadashi.
Emplacement très bon. Hôtel de petite taille, tranquille et calme
Great location. Near the sights but in a quiet neighbourhood near lots of good food and conveniences. The room was a luxurious oasis with an amazing view of the church across the road.
Perfect boutique hotel
I come to Moscow regularly for business and I love this hotel. I'm always disappointed if its fully booked (which it often is).
The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming - today they even made me a very late breakfast! The hotel is in a very peaceful neighbourhood but close to Red Square and 10 minutes walk from lots of restaurants and the metro. The hotel itself is super quiet, the rooms are extremely comfortable (go for the deluxe as the standard is a little small), and unusually for Russia the wifi is excellent!
This week I had room service every night as I was too busy with work to go out for dinner, and the meals were delicious. Breakfast is also very good.
My only negative would be I wish they had more vegan options, and provided a mini bar with red wine in the room, but apart from that this hotel is perfect for me.
We are still here at Villa Kadashi, we arrived on Wednesday. The boutique hotel is very central, it’s more or less 15 minutes by walk from the red Square and San Basil Cathedral. Our room is very clean and nice, with coffee facilities and a lot of linens. It has a very comfortable bed and a bathroom with a beautiful shower. It is very silent too. The breakfast is very good, with a choice of various dishes, croissants and bread. A special mention goes to the people at the desk. They are very very helpful and nice! We absolutely recommend Villa Kadashi, and it will sure be our choice for a future stay here in beautiful Moscow. We really hope to be back again!
Stayed at the property for 4 nights in Sep 2019. The property is a small 20 rooms bed and breakfast place excellently run and managed. Offers one of the best cooked breakfast ever. This is an excellent place for business travellers. I would have easily rated it five star but for the following reasons.
1. I had booked the place thinking it is near Arbat Street. But it happened to be quiet a distance from Arbat street. As it turned out there is a non existent Villa Kadashi Hotel appearing on Google search near Arbat Street. I think the hotel management should take immediate steps to get this listing removed from google. I am giving them a benefit of doubt that they don't know.
2. The staff though excellent and extremely friendly is not geared to serve tourists as there is significant lack of info about tourist hotspots and tours.
3. Other than the above two points I can not find even a single thing to complain about. The front office manned by Pavel and Ivan during my stay was very supportive and happy to help. As a matter of fact Ivan went out of the way to explain to the taxi fellow how pressed I was on time for my 7.00 PM Swan lake at Bolshoi theatre, and I am sure it is only because of his intervention I was able to make it with one minute to spare.
If you are not a tourist wanting to stay near Arbat street, it is an awesome place with good location near Kremlin Square and very good vibes.
If you go to Moscow you must stay to Villa Kadashi Boutique Hotel !!!
Suite room with great view. Very good breakfast.
Walk beside the river to get to the Red Square and enjoy the magnificent route....
Βeautiful Boutique Hotel.
Βeleive and live the fairy tale on this journey that was an experience of a lifetime for us.
We stayed in the villa for 3 nights after a long tour. This was a little oasis for us- calm, quiet and beautifully decorated.
Our room was beautiful- enough space for us and our suitcases. The bathroom was huge and lovely. The room was also lovely and beautifully decorated- very stylish. Bed was comfortable. It was very peaceful opening our window and listening to the people outside and the children from the school next door. At night there was no noise from the street.
Staff at the desk were very helpful, even carrying our suitcases up the stairs as the lift was broken for the whole of our stay.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing but was okay. We enjoyed drinks on the little outdoor terrace at night as the weather was superb while we were there.
Though a 15-20 minute walk into Red Square we liked being in a more local neighbourhood where we could walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and the Metro.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.
