Excellent location, service and food
Pros:

Beautiful building and gardens,excellent location to explore area. Food was really high quality and delicious. The staff were friendly and open and service better than some 5 star hotels we have said in. Got the impression staff liked their work. Room comfortable.

Cons:

There were one or two minor things that could improve the stay - there was no lift and we were on the third floor (so help with luggage would have been welcome), no light above mirror in bathroom which was an internal room and therefore a little dark, no plug point near the mirror in bedroom so difficult to dry hair and see what you were doing.

Nice , touch overpriced and I think that they could have done more than a simple card in the room for my husbands birthd
Pros:

Very grande
Huge room
Staff in the restaurant were soo lovely . Especially the man with the wonderful accent

Cons:

The driveway was a mess - huge pot holes along the way onto the property . Really needs sorting along with the chain at the beginning of the drive nearer the hotel

Still a good stay!
Pros:

Great location, good parking,friendly staff, great breakfast.

Cons:

I believe the property is undergoing renovation.
The huge bathroom had no heating:-( and we are in January…
The bed and bedside tables need tightening. Extremely wobbly:-)

hotel looks lovely from the outside but the rooms themselves leave a little more to be desired.
Pros:

the grounds look lovely when you drive in and the staff are so lovely and welcoming. I do think they are what's holding up the hotel itself though. Super clean and the bed was really comfortable and there were soft towels

Cons:

The decor in the room was un finished, the laminate floors were cold underfoot and there were no slippers or dressing gowns available. The room itself was cold when i came into it too. My apartment had a sofa and it was so uncomfortable - some cushions would have been helpful but if I wanted to watch TV i had to sit on it as you couldn't see it from the bed.
