Beautifully decorated on the ground floor, greeted by helpful and thoughtful receptionists, lovely garden and all spotlessly clean. I didn’t eat at the property.
The room I was allocated needed some tlc. Whilst everywhere was clean, the paint on the windowsills was badly cracked and peeling, walls were badly scuffed and marked, the table and chairs looked old and worn and the carpet in the stairway was badly stained. These issues sadly let the hotel down, such a shame.

Good location, comfortable room and excellent food.

The place was extremely tired. The beds were very uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress and was noisy when moving and sitting on it. The bathroom door did not only not have a lock on it also did not stay shut and swung open on its own. Not great when sharing a bathroom with teenage children as it was 2 rooms sharing the bathroom. The room was extremely hot. Not clean at all, even had a used plaster on the floor. The evening we arrived we were told the kitchens were not open from 16.00 as the kitchen was having maintenance done. Luckily we had a car to drive else where
I am disabled. We had a ground floor room, but could not access through narrow corridors and had to use external route ( good job no rain). The room was sparse. A separate huge bedroom with just a bed and wardrobe, no chair for me to sit on to dress. No pictures on bare walls. A room with table and 2 chairs plus tea and coffee making facilities, no pictures on wall. The smallest shower room possible. I could not access the shower and even access to WC was difficult. Washbasin was minute. Food and service was O

Loved everything about it especially the gardens.
Wir hatten unsere Zimmer zum Garten im Seitenflügel. Der Blick und die Ruhe waren herrlich. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, auch im Restaurant war der Service sehr gut. Das Restaurant haben wir auch am Abend genutzt und konnten uns über die Qualität des Essens sehr freuen. Wir waren auf unserer Durchreise sehr angetan von diesem Hotel: Flair, Service und Qualität. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.
Bei unserer Ankunft war es sehr heiß und wir haben die Zimmer nicht sehr stark kühlen können. Daher der kleine Punktabzug
Unfriendly and in helpful staff
Leider waren die Fenster nur einen Spalt zu öffnen und das Bettzeug eher für den Winter gedacht. Bei der aktuellen Hitzewelle in England eher unpassend. Es war sehr warm in den Räumlichkeiten

The vibe was super relaxing & a welcoming atmosphere was the feel throughout.
Top staff, nothing was too much & they all donned a nice smile & all accompanied excellent manners..seems like they actually all enjoy working there.. which was very nice to see & feel indeed!!
We had dinner in a Pod which was extra special for our Anniversary.
Although prices may seem steep to some, we found this reflective of the top service and the quality of food and atmosphere we received.
We've paid much more for a lousey dining experience & stiff service in other venues..so this is well worth the money in my Books.
Food was absolutely impeccable...compliments of plenty to the Chef(s).
