The Tony hotel is een mooi art deco hotel met mooie lobby, mooi zwembad met ligzelels op het dak, mooie bar en buitenterras waar je iets kan eten.
We hadden een meerprijs betaald voor een ocean drive kamer, die groter zou zijn en langs de Ocean Drive zijde gelegen is.
Echter bij aankomst bleek dat we gelogeerd werden in een ander gebouw. Een klein gebouw dat lijkt op een 1 ster hotelletje en waarvoor je zeker 150 meter op straat stapt om het te bereiken. Er is een ouderwetse lobby die nooit bemand is en donkere saaie gangen die naar de kamers leiden.
De ingang van het gebouw bereik je via het terras van het News Cafe, dat op de gelijkvloerse verdieping gelegen is.
Dit alles wordt bedrieglijk niet vermeld in de beschrijving van het hotel.
Not good at only thing I ate was a yogurt. No muffins or pastries only hot food eggs and weiners
No drinks food available, bar closed not a nice area - not close to airport - no restaurants close by asked the guy at reception to call a taxi so we could find a restaurant - it was 4 miles she charged us $25 U.S. said it was minimum fare - no meter our waiter at the restaurant said it was a scam .

Breakfast is under par by far to any other chain I ever stayed. Only 1 type of bread, 1 syrup for pancakes, no cheese, 1 type of fruit all week, juices=colored water. Eggs? Not sure you can call it eggs. Cut hotdogs? Really, a shame that is what served

I think this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Hard to find something I liked. I am giving 1 as there is nothing that can compensate a filthy room with bed bugs.
There were bed bugs in the room. I found them in the morning casually walking on the bed sheet. Then I found some old comments of people also finding bed bugs. It means that the hotel did nothing with the problem. Also overall cleanliness of the rooms and corridors was really bad. Breakfast was terrible as well. I heard that standards in US are below the average but I was not expecting to be that low.
