Basically all really good, with one big inconvenience - meals were never served on time, always late. Despite this the portions were large and tasty.
The optional boat trip was interesting but overpriced.

Possibilité d organiser un tour en bateau sur le lac avec hotel.
Nous avions réservé la tente mais comme nous sommes en basse saison et en saison des pluies, l’hôtel nous a donné le cottage à la place au même prix, Ce que nous avons grandement apprécié. Merci a eux pour leur gentillesse.
Cottage est propre, super vue sur le lac, eau chaude dans la douche.
Le personnel est très sympathique. Le petit déjeuné est très bon et copieux.
On peut facilement se promener en dehors de l’hôtel pour atteindre d’autres points de vue sur le lac.
Je recommande vivement cette endroit.
Les prix du restaurant sont assez cher.
Zulke vriendelijke medewerkers echt top om 5 uur in de ochtend kregen we warme Rolex mee voor ontbijt heerlijk. Geweldige lokatie aan het meer.

The food was nice except for the soup which costs far too much for what you get and it’s really salty.
This is a really weird place.
Firstly they bang on your door and shout and you and everyone else if you dare to turn on the hot water switch. Prepare to have a warm shower at your peril. The record for me was being shouted at at 5:30 AM before my gorilla trek. They really, really, really like to bang on (literally and figuratively) about the hot water. However nobody bothers to warn you about this ‘system’ at check in.
Secondly there’s a really, really, really annoying guy who tries to pressure you to book one of his expensive boat tours. If you say no he gets really grumpy. He hangs out all day pestering the guests. Not a good look.
They also agreed in advance to give me takeaway breakfast for the morning of my gorilla trek but then on the morning of the trek they announced they don’t offer takeaway meaning I left late for my trek.

Lovely cosy cottage, comfy bed, hot shower, tranquil location, nice restaurant deck to have a drink at & peaceful breakfast. Good food. Very nice breakfast and good coffee included! Very helpful staff

The location was great. The room was really clean and comfortable and the food was very good.
when we arrived they told us that the room booked for our safari guide hadn’t been booked and they were full. they advised he drive to a town about 30 minutes away and stay somewhere there for the night. My wife showed them the two room that were still available on Booking.com. About 20 minutes later they fetched our guide his room key. Very disappointing.

The wi fi didn’t work and the warm water in the bathroom just lasted for a few minutes then you had to wait for another 20 minutes to get it warm again.
Wonderfully peaceful place right by the lake.
Rooms and bathroom very simple but ok.
locatio was very good, in the sense that it is by the lake: you can swim or read in a perfect location.
On friday and especially saturday, we were kept awake long after midnight by the nearby bar, where loud music was played till at least 4 in the morning. The other nights were perfectly quite.
