Pros:

There’s a lot to like about this hotel. Breakfast, facilities.

Cons:

The facilities such as the gym should be included in the charge. Our towels smelled of smoke and the shower had very little water pressure.

Cons:

The facilities are not included in the stay price. And all rooms are stated as having air conditioning but they do not and we had to pay extra to be upgraded to an aircon room. Plus you pay to visit the gym

Lovely stay at the Tick hotel. Would stay here again.
Pros:

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The shower over the bath was not the best. Couldn't get the right temperature either too hot or cold.

More on the disappointing end
Pros:

The room view

Cons:

Charged extra for using the pool and gym yet I was a hotel guest , room was on the 4th floor and the elevator was out of service so I had to use the stairs, very unreliable WiFi connection especially if you’re using Apple devices, nobody showed up for cleaning or provide extra bottled water there’s no kettle or anything provided in the room to make a tea/coffee

Food was Ok

Cons:

I Was offered a dark room with no window which I declined!.
A member of staff told me that there was no other standard rooms available. She insisted I should pay more and take up a luxury room! I refused and asked for a refund. At this point a room with a window was magically available!
