El personal, la amabilidad, el trato y sobre todo esos maravillosos desayunos.
The hotel is in a perfect location. It is half a block from the centre which is far enough away to be quiet, and just a 1 minute walk away. It isn't on one of the horrendously steep hills which is a huge bonus.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is included. That makes for a tough choice between good convenient food and trying out the amazing cafes nearby.
People can smoke in the garden area. It is far enough away not to be a major problem but did waft our way a occasionally.

Camera spaziosissima e molto curata
El personal fue muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La ubicación es perfecta, muy cerca del centro, lo que facilita pasear y disfrutar del ambiente del pueblo. Las instalaciones son cómodas y limpias, ideales para descansar después de recorrer la zona.
Nada relevante, todo estuvo muy bien.

Prachtige accommodatie, om de hoek van het centrale plein in Salento. De binnentuin is heerlijk rustig om na een dag in de Cocora vallei te ontspannen. De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en geeft goede tips! Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en goed.
De kamers kunnen op sommige momenten wat muffig zijn. Met goede ventilatie valt dit wel op te lossen!
Our stay at Hotel Plaza Salento far exceeded our expectations. The location is simply unbeatable—literally two steps away from the main square, making it perfect for exploring the town with total ease.
A special thanks goes to Maurizio, a truly special host: incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. He made us feel right at home. Huge credit also goes to the breakfast staff, who were absolute sweethearts and extremely kind. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared to order.
Highly recommended—we will definitely be back!
Hotel precioso, con ubicación inmejorable, cerca de la plaza principal pero alejado del ruido y bullicio. La habitación muy cómoda y de tamaño ideal para ir con equipaje voluminoso. El personal muy atento y amable, que intentó en todo momento ayudarnos con todo lo que estaba en su mano. Fueron muy cercanos, muchas gracias por todo. Y el desayuno fue una pasada, muy rico y completísimo. La estancia en Salento fue muy agradable

We loved our stay here! Location is perfect, right next to the town square, and rooms are nice and comfortable. Mauricio at the front was super helpful with local recs and questions on logistics. Highly recommend!
Close to the plaza
Too noisy around the hotel/ room had no privacy because of the heat we had to open windows and people would pass just by our window /they could not provide a fan and it was hot because we had to close the windows or insects would get in at night so we could not sleep for the nights we stayed had to leave a day earlier
