I enjoyed my stay at Ortea, the hotel is clean and service was very good, it was a positive experience and I would retur

The location is quite convenient and easy access to the entire city. Staff was very friendly and took pride in their work.

Cons:

The fitness center ran out of towels, apples, and water, and the bar area was typically deserted and hard to get a drink or service at times. Yet, I appreciate that there was a fitness center at all, so overall it was a positive experience. I also wish water were more readily available for guests.

Nobody at the reception and not “welcoming people . Had to wait every time we arrived. We paid for the parking every day and last morning went for a walk (before 9am) and wanted to charge the full day parking as well. The room was quite small with two little windows. We tried to change but didn’t give us the option to change but in spite of not being full

A luxurious classical hotel with great service and ideal for a few days in this lovely place.
Pros:

A very imposing building right at the entrance to the Ortiga peninsula giving it an excellent location for access to all the historic sights of this unique spot. Views from the windows were very entertaining.
A great feature for those arriving by car is the enormous, and reasonably priced, public car-park right outside the hotel.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful

Ortea Palace è il miglior 5 stelle in cui io sia mai andata. È un palazzo antico della posta ristrutturato con grande attenzione. Hall accogliente e ampia. Con tanti salottini. Tutto ilpersonale dell'hotel è di una cortesia ormai dimenticata.
Al nostro arrivo ci hanno comunicato l'un grade da camere standard a camere lux con vista mare.
La camera era bellissima, su due piani con due bagni. Ristorante con vista su Ortigia di altissimo livello.
Colazione ricca, servito da cameriere sorridenti ed attente adnogni nostra esigenza

A True Palace Experience

From the moment you drive to Ortigia, Ortea Palace is what you first notice. It has an amazing atmosphere and beautiful decorations. Everything about our stay was great. Huge thank you to Mrs Patrizia and Anna for setting everything up for us. Our Suite was very spacious, with a beautiful view to wake up to and great amenities. The breakfast was great, with fantastic choices and good service (Federica and Serena). . Thanks to Sylvia for promptly handling our phone requests, to Paola (bar). The pool was fantastic. Would love to come back
