Pros:

Расположение отеля очень удобное. Выбирали с таким расчетом, что бы гулять пешком по центру без спуска в метро. Так и вышло, три дня осматривали достопримечательности пешком. Пару раз воспользовались троллейбусом. Рядом музей прикладного искусства Академии им. Штиглица. Ради него и выбирали проживание в этом районе. До него 5 мин пешком. Рекомендую его посетить! Приезжали на 3 дня 2 ночи. 23 февраля пошли смотреть салют, в 7-ми минутах от отеля Нева, а с той стороны Петропавловская крепость. Все отлично видно. В отеле все удобства: кровать с хорошим матрасом, приличные подушки, белоснежные полотенца, телевизор, чайник, мини-холодильник, фен, wi-fi, принадлежности в с/у, каждый день чай, кофе, сахар все доступно круглосуточно. После освобождения номера попросили оставить вещи на хранение, нам не отказали, даже продукты убрали в холодильник. Рядом магазины Дикси, Пятерочка, Spar. Утром приносили завтрак в номер по желанию на выбор, нам очень понравился! Отношение персонала приветливое. Вернемся еще раз!

Very near to the centre of St Petersburg
Pros:

The Hotel is small 10 rooms. But has recently been refurbished. The Staff are very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is very clean and heating is lovely and warm. I walked about 30 miles in 5 days and seen virtually everything I wanted to. Lots of inexpensive shops nearby and Subway two toasted sandwiches and a larger 169 roubles approx. £2.25.

Basic, clean hotel near the city centre
Pros:

This is a nice little hotel. It's based on the ground floor, and with only a short walk you are at the Fontanka channel and the Neva River. To the south there is a street with some nice bars and pubs.

The staff is friendly, but speaks only basic English. The rooms and bathroom facilities are proper and clean, though not luxurious. The room is without AC, so can become quite warm in summer. A simple breakfast is served in the morning. TV and free wifi are provided.

If you're looking for a good starting point to explore this wonderful city, while not overspending, then look no further. If you like to spend more time in your hotel in luxury, you might look somewhere else.
