Excellent location
Pros:

Excellent location, comfortable bed, good shower! We booked a driver from the hotel and he was superb! Many thanks to Mr Wedagedara Thalawinna for making the trips unforgettable :)

OK but a few hitches
Pros:

The positives: good location within easy walking distance to the lake, restaurants and cultural area of Kandy. The staff were very amiable.

Negatives: a couple unfortunately but shouldn't detract too much from the place. One, our air conditioning unit started leaking water the minute we switched it on (and I'm talking a bit of a flood). It took a day and a half of asking, and then finally a a request for some money back before anything concrete was actually done about it.
Two, if you're on the top floor be prepared for a hike up a lot of stairs. Three (and this is really fussy), it can be a little hard to find in a passage way that looks like the entrance to an underground car park to begin with - so persevere!

Bon rapport qualité prix, bien situé, calme
Pros:

Très bon, sauf les escaliers très abrupts et nous étions au 5ème ! Heureusement la personne présente à l'accueil a monté nos bagages.
Pas de vue mais très calme, en plein centre, tout accessible à pied. Salle de bain nickel un peu petite. À conseiller

Good once you have found it!
Pros:

The entrance is down what looks like an entrance to an underground garage (look for the Emirates office and go two doors past). Room is newly decorated and pleasant although no windows. No problems during my two stays, and the location is walking distance to the sights and bus/train.

A good stay in kandy
Pros:

A comfortable in kandy. Clean rooom and clean bedsheet. We got deluxe room so had to climb four storeys

Good view of the bahiravokanda buddha statue.
