Dumbara Peak Residence

This stay was a bit disappointing overall. We originally booked this place because it advertised free laundry service (up to 2 kg, if I remember correctly). However, upon arrival, we were told that this offer only applies if you stay for more than two nights — something that was not clearly mentioned anywhere before booking.
Additionally, the booking system did not allow us to reserve a triple room, even though we were three people. As a result, we had to pay for two rooms, but in the end, we were given one triple room and one double room, which was confusing.
The rooms also had a very unpleasant smell that did not go away, which made our stay less comfortable.
On the positive side, the location was very good and convenient.

The staff was excellent, ready to help with planning for sightseeing tuktuk, dance performance tickets, whatever. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Right in downtown action, great place to be if you want to experience urban Kandy. Good restaurant on the roof.

Nous avons eu un problème d’odeur dans notre chambre, le personnel a été très réactif et nous a tout de suite changé de chambre. Vous pouvez egalement acheter des places pour le spectacle de dance traditionnelle kandyan pour 2000 LKR par personne.
Seul inconvénient le bruit car l’hôtel est en plein centre ville.

Emplacement idéal dans le centre ville proche de plusieurs magasins et restaurants. Le temple de la dent est proche.

La chambre était spacieuse, propre avec climatisation. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et dans un cadre agréable sur la terrasse.

Le restaurant aussi sert plusieurs spécialitées, leur burgers sont bons. Aussi plusieurs boissons sont disponibles.

Personnel agréable et seeviable.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed needed more pillows, which would be our only slight criticism.
The best thing about it is the location though! All of the tourist things, around the centre of Kandy, are within 5 minutes walk!

位置非常好，步行可达市区，晚上可以出去转转。
staff很热情很nice，check in时有提供鲜榨果汁很好喝，出门的时候还提醒我锁好门（我以为关上就锁上了）

Great location to be able to walk to different destinations in Kandy and really good restaurants a short walk nearby. Fine for one or two nights, but I wouldn't stay longer.

Emplacement top en centre ville. L’ extérieur de l’hôtel peut donner une impression d'inconfort, mais quand vous êtes dedans , vous vous rendez compte que tout est OK. La décoration de la chambre est simple mais tout fonctionne bien , notamment dans la salle d’eau.
Le personnel est sympathique et à l'écoute. Le service lundry est de qualité, les petits déjeuners copieux .

Excellent location (10 minute walk to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth) and incredibly friendly staff! This is a budget place, so don't expect anything luxurious, but it has everything you need- A/C, hot water, and you can see that the staff are working hard to make it as clean & nice as possible! The rooftop restaurant/bar is a wonderful space!

Obiekt położony w samym centrum. Blisko do zwiedzanych obiektów i restauracji. Fajny bar na dachu na zachód słońca.

L'emplacement en centre-ville, près du temple de la dent et des spectacles de danse. Le restaurant sur le toit. Le peu de bruit dans la chambre 1. Le service de Laundry. Le personnel très sympathique.
