very nice basic place within close walking distance to everything
Pros:

Did nit have breakfast though it was offered.

Cons:

The doors inside the apartments are too heavy and wont stay open if you want them to.

We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

Breakfast was great, communal spaces were really nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Bathrooms are really tired, towels are a little old and small. Some of the bedrooms the decor needed an update , it was also sometimes difficult to find anyone on reception.

Nice accommodation and location
Pros:

Clean and well presented. We arrived after last orders for restaurant but kitchen stayed open for us which we were really grateful for. Pleasant and welcoming staff

Good value in a great location.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, staff were very helpful. Lounge and bar as well as restaurant, good facilities and the hotel location is brilliant. Free parking with plenty of space available

Lovely comfortable stay at The Ayre. Stunning inside.
Pros:

The Ayre Hotel is a lovely place and I would stay again. It was really just a base for us this time as we had lots of plans with family so we didn't get a chance to go to restaurant but it looked lovely. We had a drink in the lounge and it is gorgeous, good cocktails. The staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

This is just a personal thing but I would have liked if breakfast was a bit later, the latest to go is 9.30am. We had quite late nights so were enjoying a wee sleep in but it did not really bother us, it's just the only thing I remember thinking, I thought 10.30am would maybe be a typical breakfast time but it could have been for staffing reasons etc, it didn't spoil it at all, we chose to sleep in!
