This is better described as a 2-star hotel and is overpriced, especially for Chicago.
Pros:

The location was convenient to the red and blue lines and there were a few staff members who were very nice.

Cons:

The room had an odd set-up. There were no available outlets by the desk, the faucet sink was too short so it made it harder to wash hands and face, the overhead bathroom lights are too harsh, to use the vanity lights the overhead lights had to be on, the towel hook was far away from the shower, and the bed was uncomfortable (soft and lumpy). The ground entrance to the hotel was shabby (chairs are worn, staff did not greet which seems very necessary given the lobby is on the 9th floor, and when I left there were ants all over the floor).

I like that the property is downtown & walking distance from everything.

Cons:

I felt like the property could’ve been a lot cleaner. The room I stayed in floors were still slightly dirty, you can tell it was rushed. Also, the floors throughout the hotel weren’t the cleanest.

Dirty furnitures in the room and lobby. Iron stained my clothes and the ironing board fell apart. When we mentioned the front desk were rude about it.

The staff’s attitude, not getting my room cleaned after I requested for it to be, the clogged sink, the unclean decorative pillow, having to go get my own towels…

Pros:

Such a great room with great location. Stuffs were nice and cordial.
Rooms were spacious and clean.

Cons:

The bathroom was not clean when we checked in. However they sent maintenance as soon as I called them.
