Some potential but overall unpleasant stay
Pros:

We had quite a bad experience staying three nights at the Jungle Villa Resort. At first view, many things work well - e.g. staff are kind, facilities are nice and clean as well as location near the river with jungle on the other side is beautiful.

A large number of bad experiences with management was part of ruining the trip for us; incompetent and untrustworthy, lacking understanding of their guests.

Furthermore, the resort felt like a prison, thus enabling the place to sell mediocre dinner and lunch at around 15 USD per person - more than thrice than other comparable places in Nepal. Price for jungle safaris was also higher than other places but this was more to be expected - on the other hand the guide was really good.
