The hotel is a family-run business, and the warmth and hospitality we experience each time make all the difference. Mr. Teshome, the owner, personally picked us up from the airport and drove us back when it was time to leave. Throughout our stay, he went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Everyone we interact with at the hotel is kind, attentive, and eager to help. Whether we have a question or need assistance, they are always available and genuinely happy to assist.

The hotel also has an on-site restaurant that serves absolutely delicious, fresh, traditional Ethiopian meals.

This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience of true Ethiopian hospitality. Thank you to Mr. Teshome and the entire team for making every visit so memorable. We look forward to returning again next year!

For any African Americans traveling to Addis abbaba in the future I recommend this hotel it’s out of the way of the rest of busy life Addis Abbaba more towards the industrial where everywhere you walk and talk you are meeting genuine raw uncut Ethiopian people who are willing to assist you with anything. Please check out the Tana fish house and Bella restaurant top notch for this area. What can I say about the staff if you are more worried about additional amenities don’t come here they have what you need clean room hot water 24/7 backup generator restaurant pickup from airport service and most important they will bend over backwards for your service. Please support them it’s for me was a neighborhood friendly community Thank you

Guzara Hotel Addis is a home away from home! Breakfast and coffee were amazing every day of my stay. Staff were kind and accommadating. Laundry service is located conveniently close to the hotel. Hadero coffee shop and Power Gym is a short walk away from the hotel as well. I highly recommend the guide service offered by the hotel owner. The hotel was clean and room service very convenient. The owner exceeded my expectations, sharing info on great local restaurants, places to see, and shuttle service to local museums and historical sites. I will most definitely be booking all future stays in Addis with Guzara Hotel!

Everything was good except the TV was not working

Our stay at Guzara was excellent. They are a family run hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, fresh and yummy food. This was my first time here and my wife’s third.

I was looking for a quite place near the international airport and near Bole. I was lucky enough to find a room at Guzara Hotel. The amazing English speaking staff made sure everything was ok and were extremely helpful and polite during my entire stay. The neighborhood is safe and silent during the night. The rooms were always clean and with warm water. You can't ask for anything more

If you are looking for a place close to the international airport, close to Bole and in a silent area far from busy streets you don't need to look any further. The staff was incredibly polite and the rooms always clean. I will definitely come back next time

Awesome experience. Very pleasant experience and friendly hotel owner and staff. I got picked up personally by the hotel owner who also offered his jacket when I mentioned it was cold at the airport. Recommend for everyone. The hotel also provides tour packages.

The owner is very friendly and hospitable.... eventually. But that did not prevent him having a rant about Expedia virtual credit card system. I had a receipt but he implied we should pay again

I stayed at the Guzara on the first night in Ethiopia and my last night before I left. The staff was exceptionally friendlly and eager to make my stay comfortable. The wifi worked well too. On my last night, they even drove myself and two colleagues to a restaurant in their van. I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Addis. They have a free airport shuttle and the hotel is quite close to the airport but quiet and excellent value. We will be using this hotel again.

I like the service it feels home more welcoming and clean

Verey peacfull and clean hotel Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my stay in addisse. We were welcomed by the staff and general manager. Upon arivale we were picked by the hotel shuttle from the air- port and also at the end of our stay droped off at the airport for departure. The hotel is built in the middest of residential area away from the hectic city center which I love most . Our incial plane was to saty for two nights but we were upgraded to huge bedroom and endeup satying for two weeks.
