Die Unterkunft war sauber, und auch für uns 5 Personen groß genug. Die Lage war schön und es gab genug Aktivitäten für Familien im Umfeld.
Leider hat die inzwischen ziemlich hochgewachsene Hecke die schöne Aussicht von unserer Terrasse sehr behindert.
Außerdem hat uns eine normale Filterkaffee Maschine gefehlt. Und der Kontakt zu dem Vermieter war sehr unpersönlich, man hatte so auch keinen, den man bei Fragen ansprechen konnte.
Fantastische Aussicht auf die Berge vom Balkon.
Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Location uphill but we knew that when booking. It is still a good location. I messaged twice regarding check out and if there were any luggage storage facilities but never received a response which was disappointing.

Not much happening in alpendorf
The accommodation was great. Close to the slopes, equipped with ski storage and ski boot dryer. Perhaps the only thing missing was a place to dry clothes.

Good location for the ski slopes. Clean and convenient. Good size apartments for 2 people.
Overall a very positive experience.
Only minor things.
1 . Lack of coat hooks to hang things up when we came in from the rain.
2. Not keen on the slipper bath. Felt like we were going to trip in or out of it. We’d rather just have a shower.
3. Kept stubbing toes on the low step from the bathroom to the kitchen area and also from the kitchen area to the main part of the room. Nothing you can really do about that though.
4. Could do with extra chairs and a larger fold down table to eat at along with a more cutlery and crockery. This is so we could eat with friends in our 2nd apartment without moving things from one to the other. Would probably change the position of the dining table and TV.

- the room had a wide space for 2-3 families to sit together (Lara)
In winter we had issues with a temperature in a rooms:
- the door to garten could not be closed properly (there is a hole between house and door)
- one room had no proper floor heating (17 degrees in a room)
- windows are too old and it's not possible to seat behind dinner table without any covering
In additional:
- there were few outlets for charging electrical devices in living room
- ventilation in the bathroom and toilet does not work well (no windows at all)
- poor sound insulation
- there are no wacumcleaner or no broom and dustpan to clean the floor
- wifi speed is too weak (1MB/s download, it's better to use mobile internet)
- online checking has been not sent, we had to complete it on registration desk
We stayed in the ‘Dindl’ apartment which had a lovely cozy and authentic feel and generally everything we needed for our stay. Incredible views. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom (great for drying things after a day of skiing).
Was the ideal place for our ski trip with the chair lift and cable car in short walking distance. Also the free ski bus which ran frequently was handy to get back and forth from Alpendorf to St Johann town to buy groceries. There is also a convenience store in Alpendorf which was good to top up. Wifi generally worked. After we arrived, the personalised communication with the owner by text/phone was great.
Didn’t reply to my messages before we arrived. Found it best to contact owners by phone.
