Hotel Mepas

The hotel is located in a shopping mall that is closed on Sundays, neither the center nor the restaurant. We arrived late and ordered room service. After a while, the child wanted a banana. The hotel paid us 8 euros for a banana for the child. I have been to this hotel many times, but these little things make you lose the will to ever come back.

We got a suite and it was so lovely! The hotel is located inside or on top of a mall and feels like a relatively new building. I would stay here again! The hotel gym is a little worn but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

I’ve stayed here once on business and then more recently for a short holiday. We stayed two nights. Sleep quality was excellent. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are huge with very large bathrooms. Breakfast is simple but decent.

Good central location for the train station, for the sights etc. And it has plenty of parking.

The room was good but breakfast quality slightly lets the hotel down.

Due to the pool an overly scented aircon and airflow which messed with my allergies slightly.

Modern rooms, clean hotel, we did have a couple small issues which could not be fixed so our room was changed for another one. Great views would highly recommend

Great hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Walkable to the old town & good service. Nice breakfast and very comfortable stay

We stayed here for 2 nights on our tour and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The hotel is part of a shopping centre, in the underground car park -3 is the parking with a dedicated lift to the hotel. You can't actually go in or out of the hotel to the mall so you have to walk out and then back in again.

The room we had was top floor and a standard room. It was a very large room and bathroom possibly because we had a room for less abled guests as it was a lot of dead space. 2 beds and large wardrobe area, large TV with great choice and info.

Breakfast was excellent and had a large choice with good quality and catered for most tastes and dietary requirements.

There is a pool spa gym area on floor 8 and it is very big and has everything you need however as a subjective opinion it seemed like a public swimming pool, it was very stark - not helped by the size but it felt cold and sterile. Definitely in need of indoor plants and zonal warm colour areas. We were tempted by the massages but when we wandered around the facilities the massage area seemed to those mobile medical curtains in a large room. If like me you imagine spa areas to be calm relaxing and luxurious decorations you won't find it here.
Purely subjective but it is large and has every thing you need and is very well cleaned and maintained so it satisfies in the centre of town.

Staff were friendly and helpful and overall was a very comfortable stay and a safe choice. But do understand you're in the new part of town and it is a 25 minute walk to the old bridge.

Terrible hotel experience! The staff is rude and hostile. Bad, bad manners! Basics of communication in hospitality are unknown for them. For a five star hotel and the cost of stay I am expected to:1) at least be served lunch in a reasonable amount of time- we waited for 1h 40minutes for fish! (we did not get salads and side dish), 2) and to receive an apology if something like this happens. Its not just about the lunch, the sales representative and director are terrible at handling escalation. The breakfast was so average, more like a 3 star hotel. The AC was broken, and there was humidity in the room. Zero friendliness and zero solutiom oriented attitude, the waiters, director and sales person all share the same approach- violent agressive behaviour! Overall, everyone is rude and dismissive, and I will never ever come back or recommend this hotel. Total lack of professionalism!

The staff (from management to bar and prestige restaurant) is unfriendly and rude. Communication with guests and clients is violent, pert and shameful for a 5 star hotel. I would rate hospitality minus 5 stars. Do not stay at this hotel.

Loved the room and especially the service. Pero in the Reception was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend the hotel even though it’s about a 20 min walk to the Old bridge area.

10/10 for a top hotel. Enormous swimming pool, children’s splash pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym. ‘Sun’ loungers, tables and chairs in the pool area.
Rooms are very spacious. Bathroom has shower and large bath. Stunning views to the mountains and old town. The staff here all went out of their way to make my stay perfect.
Breakfast is exceptionally good, with hot/ cold spread and made to order omelettes.
It is an 6-10 minute walk to either bus depot or the train station. It is a pleasant 15 minute stroll to old town.
There is a shopping mall under the hotel with a cinema showing films in English. £8 for movie, massive popcorn and drink. There is a hi -tech games arcade and another separate video games/ playstation/ on-line games arcade as well. They also have a soft- play centre.
Stay longer in Mostar, go on a walking tour and take some excursions out of town. Hike into the mountains and look back down onto the town.
Mepas is a great base for adventures in Mostar!

10/10 property in Mostar with an incredible swimming pool, gym and sauna. There is a jacuzzi and children’s splash pool as well. Plenty of ‘ sun’ beds and tables and chairs in the indoor pool areaThe view from the window towards old town was amazing.
The train station and both bus stations are less than 20 minutes walk. Old town was a pleasant 15-20 walk away.
The staff were all amazing and very responsive to any requests.
The hotel has a mall below it which has a cinema with movies in English.
The Mepas is a firm favourite of mine!

Basic breakfast, awful juice and coffee machines. For 5 star hotel I’d expect a lot better. Rooms noisy from outside. Bed not comfy.
Positives, reception staff friendly, rooms spacious & good location.

I had a great stay at this hotel located conveniently near a shopping center perfect if you enjoy having stores and restaurants within easy reach. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay.

I booked a suite, and it was incredibly nice spacious, clean, and well furnished. The view from the room was a highlight, making the space feel even more relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was well maintained which really added to the comfort.

Breakfast was quite basic. It covered the essentials but didn’t offer much variety.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a great view.
