short but good.
Pros:

The room was very spacious and the staff were nice. They allowed me to have my cat with me. They were quick and professional with the check-in for me and the cat.

Okay but not great
Pros:

Excellent restaurant with great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 20% discount for guests!

Fantastic, well equipped gym conveniently located right next to the laundry room.

The hotel staff are very kind and eager to help. They were quick to address my request to change rooms due to problems with the bathroom.

The room I had was spacious, with a comfortable bed and sofa. I loved their book collection.

Cons:

Bathrooms are not well maintained. I changed rooms twice because of broken tiles in the bathroom!

The floors look unclean and I felt the need to always wear slippers while in the bathroom. There are many mold spots in the shower (all 3 rooms). The construction is clearly dated and in need of renovation.

The hotel is a 20 min walk to the nearest metro station. The entire area is dark with poorly lit streets and intersections. Felt extremely dangerous crossing roads and intersections in near pitch darkness.

We will definitely stay there again if/when we return to Beijing. Excellent!
Pros:

Breakfast had a good selection for a variety of palates. On one day the cook didn't show up and the other staff didn't know what to do, but the front desk deducted that meal from our bill. We only had one dinner there.....a little spicey for me. The front people were extremely helpful. Especially Angel. She helped us very much getting settled, booking our tours, and even booking the high speed train for us to go to Dalian. Without her we would have struggled.

Cons:

I caught a cold right away.......not your fault!
