L’hôtel est sans plus à part La proximité avec les restaurants tout à 5 minutes à pieds au bord de la plage mes préférable de marcher 10 minutes à pied trouver l’endroit idéal pour si baigner la piscine est propre mais le buffet et éclater au sol pas de goût fade un cake pour 40 inadmissible les jus pas frais y’a que la vue qui est magnifique

Fantastic beachfront location. Building is a little tired however this is Africa .fantastic pool set in beautiful tropical gardens. Great location for access to beach,restaurants and shopping. Had an excellent stay with all the staff being polite and attentive. No complaints.

Unbelievable ocean views just steps down from the property! Every seat in the dining area has a spectacular ocean view.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious.

The pool is clean, refreshing, and offers sun or shade options in a tranquil setting.

We spent a month at Langi Langi in Nov/December 2024. We had a fantastic time and this was due largely to the wonderful staff. Pauline on reception was the first person we met, on reception and she was so friendly. All the staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms were so clean, and comfortable. The restaurant had the best view, and the food was beautiful, fresh and home cooked. We often had fish that had been caught just hours earlier and it was so tasty.
Breakfast was tasty, there were omelettes, bruschetta, fruit, cereal, cakes, juices, prepared to order. Toast, cake, so much variety.
The absolute star of the show is Rasta, the owner. Always had time to chat, and also to help out and give his staff a hand, be it clearing tables, or cooking the freshly caught fish, it says it all, he respected his staff, his staff were happy, and that showed in the way they treated customers.
The location is absolutely perfect. You are just steps from the wonderful beach with gorgeous sunsets and a clear blue sea. There is a beautiful pool in the grounds that is very clean and has plenty of shade if you don’t like the sea and sand.
We can recommend Langi Langi so highly, and we are going back again this year. In 10 months time. Counting down the days already. Thank you to every member of staff, the cleaners, the waiters, security staff. You made our holiday wonderful. Emma and David.

I almost cancelled this booking after reading negative reviews but to be honest it was fine. It is definitely not luxury and is. Certainly an older property maybe in need of some updating but for us it was just fine. Room was clean, ocean views from our room, pool was nice and breakfast was also nice with a wide range of choice. Didn’t have dinner here, but there looked to be a large range of food on offer. We had a nice stay.

As previous reviews have mentioned, this hotel is old, dated and desperately in need of updating. Our room on the top floor had amazing views over the sea (the sunset was stunning) but the room itself was pretty grim. The first room was unclean to the point we refused to accept it and requested a different room (which was cleaner, thankfully). The bathroom was dated and not particularly pleasant to use. The bed was ok and the air con was great. Wifi was slightly unreliable. Access to the room was via steep steps (staff didn't offer to help with luggage).

The pool area was....weird. It was set back in the garden section of the hotel and it felt a bit dark and unclean. We didn't see anyone use it during our stay.

Breakfast was very basic,but staff at breakfast were friendly, as were the cleaners. Reception staff were not particularly friendly or engaging.

Would not recommend.

Just all round great space. It does not pretend to be anything but a very casual place to stay in Nungwi !! Love it !! Highly recommended

We spent 3 nights at Langi Langi and were very satisfied. The hotel is beautifully located on the beach, with direct beach access. Amazing views. The restaurant offers several different breakfast alternatives and great dishes for lunch and dinner. Overall a great stay in Langi Langi!

Great place, most friendly people all staff is like family. Much recommended 👌. Food is also excellent, and you get the most beautiful sunset on their terrace.

Unable to use credit card to buy meals. We only travel with so much money so we ate elsewhere unfortunately.

This hotel is amazing as 2 young girls travelling we felt very safe here with security and very friendly staff l, the owner of the hotel is always around and aways happy to help , we booked trips with there support and he very mindful of your safety. Breakfast was amazing and good choice. Location is great right on the beach front with restaurant around and good beaches

Langi Langi is in desperate need of upgrading to compete with the other hotels neighbouring,. The food is very basic and the wifi is worse than intermittent, no good if you’re needing to work a few hours per day as speed is too slow and most of the time not working.
When checking out and finalising my bill I was charged 5% charge for my card payment, it seems that there is no set limit for charges so either pay in cash or challenge the percentage.
The view from the bar / restaurant is truly amazing to watch the boAts go by and of course the wonderful sunsets.

This is a nice no frills hotel with great location. Staff are friendly especially Salah who will go out of his way to help guests with anything. The hotel has a wonderful garden with Dik Diks, Guinea Foul, a monkey, and probably a lot more. It’s like waking up in a jungle so serene and beautiful. The pool is also located in the Garden. Rooms are basic but clean bathrooms could be updated. A/C worked well and the rooms also have a ceiling fan. Breakfast at the restaurant is ok, it is a la carte not a buffet. We had lunch once at the restaurant and the food was great. Location is wonderful, lots to do and other places you can walk to.
Overall a very good experience at this hotel.

This is a nice hotel in a very busy area.

We stayed in one of the sea view suites which was nice. The room had ac and a ceiling fan which made the room nice and cool. Fantastic views over the ocean from the balcony.

We booked the 3rd floor room because of the expansive view. The location was perfect, right in front of the ocean. It was breathtaking!!.
To me this was the best part as I could watch the coming and going of the tides. An ideal place to recover, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility. We were in one of the sea view rooms with balcony which was ideal for watching the evening sunsets over the ocean.

As long as I closed my eyes to the rundown aspects of the stinking bathroom, I truly enjoyed my stay there. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the bathroom issue.

Loved the outside dining on the deck and lounging area. A few steps down and you're right in the ocean ..... awe-amazing! The pool area was very relaxing with birds chirping and beautiful flowers everywhere. Rasta the owner, has created a little wonderland with amazing lush green enclave with few free-roaming domesticated animals on his property. Love seeing the dwarf antelope!

The room does need a little more maintenance but I understand how hard it’s to keep the properties near the ocean in perfect state. If you wish to experience true Zanzibar warmth and welcome ….. then Langi Langi is the place. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Conclusion: Overall it a beautiful place, we will surely come back again although, it's a long trip from Canada.
