What I liked: convenient location and great view out of window to central square and park, zero street noise, warm and clean, comfortable bed. Absolutely wonderful breakfast buffet for just $2 with large variety of foods and drinks, way better than $20 breakfast in US hotels. I highly recommend that buffet.
What I didn't like: squeaky floor (room 413) and poor noise insulation between rooms. On second thoughts, that might be the side effect of overall very quiet hotel.

Проблемы стандартные - плохая звукоизоляция, протечка душевых поддонов (номер 547), однообразный шведский стол на завтраке, узкая кровать в бизнес-номерах (вроде есть варианты с широкой кроватью), не ясный график уборки номеров (то уберутся, то не уберутся, то зайду просто полотенца поправят, но видно что не пылесосят и т.п.).

Плюсы - хорошее расположение (центр города), низкая стоимость номера, возможность включить обед и ужин в стоимость номера.
Словом, стандартный недорогой большой отель. Переочевать "по быстрому" подойдёт.
Соотношение "цена-качество" на 4.

Бронировал через Hotels.com 2 номера, в каждом 2 взрослых и 2 детей. При заезде ещё раз переспросил. Оказалось один номер аж 3х комнатный с 1 2х спальной кроватью, 2 односпальных и диван еще. А вот во втором номере было 2 не раздвижных кресла, сотрудники принесли евро раскладушки. Коридоры немного обшарпаны, но все чисто и аккуратно. В гостинице есть ресторан кормили вкусно, завтраки тоже хорошие выбор не огромен но каши, творог, салатики и яичница норм. Останавливались на одну ночь проездом. В целом нормально, немного ремонта и вообще отлично будет.

when we arrived, the lobby looked normal. But when we stepped out the elevator and walk through the hallway to the room, we where shocked. Every door frame was damaged and old, it looked like you where in a horror movie. We had a room on the 4th floor. There was no good atmosphere on that floor. As soon as we opened the room, it looked empty and old. There was nothing that gave the room some colour of coziness. It was just an empty space with a bed. The blankets where too short so our feet where sticking out. When we asked for an extra blanket, they gave us a little fleece blanket. One day later we asked again and showed them a normal blanket and said that we wanted an extra one. She came back with 4 fleece blankets.... I can not say the rooms where dirty or that the bed was real worthless but you don't feel really comfortable in the rooms. Except for the third person in our room, he had to sleep on a sleeping couch. That bed was rock hard and was not comfortable. The bathroom was just very old and had a strange bathtub with height difference in it, so when you where showering one feet was higher than the other one. At last, the breakfast was not very tasty and not to the standards that we are used to in West-Europe. The dinner was a little bit better but i still was afraid that it would make me sick. And one last thing, the staff did not speak any English. Summarizing: The hotel needs a renovation really badly because it feels like that already had to be done 20 years ago. The Kalashnikov museum is near by, that is nice to visit and you can even fire one in the basement of the museum.

Не первый раз останавливаюсь. В это раз все отлично, номер (и этаж похоже) после ремонта, все с иголочки, в номере тепло. На ресепшн повезло с сотрудницей, которая занималась заселением, вежливо, быстро. Электронные ключи работают без сбоев (было по-другому), еда включенного завтрака нормальная. К минусам можно отнести слышимость голосов из соседнего номера ( с одной стороны почему-то). Разговоры по телефону слышны и даже негромкая музыка тоже.

Бизнес-номер. Жутко скрипучая кровать. Нормально выспаться не смог. Любое шевеление вызывает дискомфорт.

В номере мороз, сам номер (называемый скромно "бизнес") крохотный, но с натяжным потолком, из-за которого нельзя поднять руки - обязательно заденешь. Завтраки, как обычно, скудные, невкусные. Таких сосисок нет нигде - гомогенная бумажная масса с какими-то добавками. Особенно невнимательный персонал: ладно, долгая регистрация, но когда я позвонил и попросил разбудить к самолету - заказ приняли, но не разбудили конечно. При получении счета, спросил, а почему так получилось, хоть и записали, и бодро пообещали разбудить. На что удмуртская красавица ответила: "У нас заселение".))) Ну теперь понятно))) Учтите, при заселении никто не будет заниматься просьбами клиентов - надо со всеми сразу, с порога, куя пока горячо, рассчитаться. Удивительно, но в этой стране даже в "звездных" гостиницах к постояльцам относятся как к прохиндеям с которых, как только они переступят порог, получить полностью за все услуги. Не взирая ни на что - деньги вперед. Это смешно, особенно после заграницы, где оплату примут когда угодно гостю. Но у нас видимо все под подозрением в мошенничесве - вот и сервис соответсвует. В общем, будучи в Ижевске, останавливайтесь в этом караван-сарае только при крайней необходимости.

Отель соответствует цене .

Останавливались семьей с детьми со 2го по 4.11.2018 г. Все очень понравилось. Отель высокого уровня. Питание очень хорошее и разнообразное. Даже детям понравилось. Еда качественная. Особая благодарность Анне. Она нас регистрировала и курировала все пребывание ). Быстро и профессионально решала любые вопросы. Благодаря таким профессиональным сотрудницам отель выходит на высокий уровень.

На ресепшн постоянная очередь. Заезжал за 6 минут до полуночи - никто не предупредил, что подожди я 6 минут - заплатил бы вдвое меньше. Номера очень "усталые" - обшарпанная мебель, старые матрасы, отваливающиеся на дверях ручки, грибок в ванной, пятна на белье и прочие прелести. Отношение в гостям свинское. Кормежка в ресторане по качеству - более-менее, но холодное все уже в 6:50 (завтрак начинается в 6:30). Смотрите фото - они красноречивее всех слов.

Because I read reviews from this site, I didn't expect much for my 6 nights stay. But when I signed in the hotel, the first impression was very positive. The staff was polite and helpful although I don't speak perfect russian. I was given a room at sixt (the top) floor. The floor was renovated and all though the room was small, it was cozy. It had everything I needed.

At first the A/C of the room gave me some error codes. I checked the codes from the net and it seemed to have an conflict between the outter module and the inner module. So when I requested the A/C for cooling, it didn't work. So after the first night I asked for repair. It was only after second night when they actually corrected the problem. So I had two short nights, because after 6 it was impossible to continue sleeping, because of the trafic noise from outside an the sun starting to heat up the room. When the problem got corrected, it was very comfortable to sleep the rest of the nights. The windows are really good, so when they are closed, not too much noise comes to the room.

Also I red complains about the corridor lightning and breakfast from this site. The corridor lightning is power saving, so it lights up as you walk the corridor further. So I didn't have any problems with it. Also in my opinnion the breakfast was good. Actually you can find much worse cases in many russian hotels. In my opinnion if you can't find anything to eat with that buffet board, it's actually your own fault. There was even two differend kind of porridge every day. Oatmeal porridge was every day, but the other porridge varied. Also there was also at least two different kind of salads, which also varied every day. And together with this there was a lot of other choises from hot dishes to bread, pastry, youghurt and so on. Also when I left the last morning very early, before the breakfast time, they provided me with a "lunch box", with apple, youghurt, pre-filled toast with cheese and ham, 0,5l of water, waffle and if I remember right, there was also a small juice jar.

Maybe the only thing to complain besides the A/C problem would be that after the first night, they didn't clean my room. All other days they did. But actually this was OK with me, because the only thing to do there would have been to make my bed and empty the trash.

Приветливые девушки на ресепшене. Хорошее питание. вкусно и разнообразно.
Один кулер на этаж - малолвато, т.к. коридоры очень длинные.
Местоположение отеля прекрасное - даже, если не очень много времени, можно пройтись по центру Ижевска и насладиться его красотой.
В номере (эконом) было холодно. Хотя и пластиковые окна стоят.
Поскольку номер эконом, то состояние дверей, обоев и потолка оставляет желать лучшего.

It reminds me of an old Soviet-style hotel, but it is somewhat. It would benefit from a brush of paint, better lighting, but it is clean and the bed was good. The breakfast room is gloomy, but the food is not too bad. The restaurant has better choices and even a menu in English

В силу постоянных командировок приходится регулярно останавливаться в гостиницах разного класса. Гостиница "АМАКС" в Ижевске одна из не многих, которая имеет идеальное соотношение цены и качества. Располагается в центре города. Персонал обходительный. Я взял номер - апартаменты, через сервис бронирования, за 4270. За эти деньги, напротив в Парк инн даже стандарт не предлагают.)) В номере всё идеально! Но есть в гостинице и пару минусов.
Холл: при входе не мешало бы заменить напольную плитку. Реально она портит весь вид. Либо прикрыть её ковром, если это целесообразнее.
Номер: Не мешало бы в номер поставить пару бутылочек с водой и мыльно-рыльные одноразовые принадлежности в ванну (зубную пасту, щетку, расчестку, бритву, ватные палочки) - поверьте этого очень не хватает в дополнении к номеру класса люкс.
Завтрак: Завтрак богатый, претензий нет. Но обязательно нужно добавить мясного, его очень не хватает. Обжаренные сосиски, которые единственные из мясного, очень плохого качества (состоят на 90 % из жира).

This place is awful. I've lived in Russia for 5 years so I understand that standards are a bit different here, but this place is awful by any standard. I woke up covered in bed bug bites and the hotel's response was, "that's out of our control." I have never had such a thing happen and I've stayed in some pretty sketchy places but this is the worst.

I have stayed at many hotels over the years. i travel a lot every year, and this is the worst place i have ever stayed, it is like a movie set when a movie is showing a down town New york hotel for crack heads. it is about 20 years past needing modernization, the rooms are terrible, there is nearly no hot water, they rooms are full of homeless teenagers, and there is no way this is suitable for business use. the pictures on the web site DO NOT look like the terrible rooms me and my 5 colleagues were given. AVOID AT ALL COST. they do not speak any language other than Russian.

The hotel is located right in the center of the town, near the President palace, old arsenal, and the "white house".
I occupied a Single Comfort grade room The bad is quire narrow, the bath is too short - like a shower cabin. The room is a refurbished Soviet type room, which cost you over $100.
Breakfast was included into the room cost - poor quality: omlet sucks, no option to order fried/boiled/scrambled eggs. One type of cereals is offerred - corn flakes. Cheap tea-bags. Instant coffee.
