Excellent staff, particularly Craig, who is extremely charming, helpful and professional. It's an upmarket boutique hotel, excellent food and finishing, ideally located.
The electronic room controls could be difficult to use. Their blue lights were a distraction in the middle of the night
Το δωμάτιο ήταν αρκετά κεντρικό και καθαρό. Είχε όλες τις απαραίτητες παροχές αν και ήταν ίσως το μικρότερο διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο του ξενοδοχείου.
Η θέα από το δωμάτιο δεν ήταν κάτι το εξαιρετικό αλλά είναι κατανοητό σε τέτοιου είδους κεντρικά κτίρια. Η ηχομόνωση δεν ήταν και η καλύτερη αλλά και αυτό είναι φυσιολογικό όταν πρόκειται για ανακατασκευή νεοκλασικού κτιρίου.

Находится в самом центре. Огромный номер с 5-метровыми потолками в старинном доме. Есть кулер, кофе-машина, чайник и даже вино. Вкуснейшие завтраки. Вышколенный милый персонал. Благодаря отелю впечатление от Мальты вдвойне отличное. Прекрасные туалетные принадлежности, отличный тропический душ, чистота и тишина. Идеальный выбор!
Минусов нет. На заметку: чекин и завтраки происходят в соседнем здании Roselli, а AX Saint это бутик-отель, отдельное здание рядом.
Das Hotel ist in höchstem Maße sauber und gepflegt, die Zimmer sind erstklassig ausgestattet und bieten alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders die moderne technische Ausstattung trägt zu einer komfortablen Arbeits- und Wohlfühlatmosphäre bei.
Hervorzuheben ist zudem das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – von der Rezeption bis zum Zimmerservice wurde ich jederzeit herzlich betreut. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und Aufmerksamkeit des gesamten Teams sind wirklich nicht zu übertreffen.
Unfortunately we had an early flight so we missed breakfast. The location was very good being in the heart of the City.

Centrally located in Valletta — but that is about the only positive. The hotel is surrounded by three extremely busy outdoor terraces with loud music, one of which is the hotel’s own gastropub.
We booked a comfort room, and were offered an upgrade. As this room was street-facing, right next and above the noisy terraces with loud music, we declined it. We were then shown our originally booked room — and we were shocked. It had no windows to outside, only two windows facing a glass-covered atrium. There was a strong food smell from the gastropub, the room was tiny, and completely out of proportion to the price we paid, and not for 5 nights. Back to the reception, upgrade was gone to another couple. After strongly insisting, we were offered another upgrade — this time on the first floor above the pub (room 102). Given the alternative, we accepted it under the promise that it would be quiet outside after 11 p.m. The room had sound proof doors to the balcony that blocked most of the noise, but there were no windows in them, so the room was extremely dark. The mattresses were hard. The bathroom lighting was poor, and the interior felt cheap. The lighting system was controlled by a complicated illuminated touchscreen next to the bed, which was frustrating to use. Noise from the pub below — especially chairs being dragged — continued until 1 a.m.After two bad nights we asked for another room. For the last two nights we were moved to a room on the fifth floor at the back with a balcony. We thought this would finally be good, but unfortunately the gastropub’s extraction system ran directly past the balcony, producing strong smells and constant noise. The mattresses were hard, with a plastic layer directly under the sheets, making them very uncomfortable. The shower leaked, the sink was far too small, and on one side of the bed neither a working power socket nor the lighting touchscreen. There was no power outlet for a hairdryer in the bathroom, nor near the mirror in the room. (both rooms).
We saw three different rooms and I honestly wonder if there is a good room in this hotel at all. I don't understand a score of 9,1.
