Wir haben den Hot Tub leider nicht verwendet, da wir tagsüber bereits in den Vök Bäderen waren. Er sah aber sehr gemütlich aus.
Die Zimmer könnten ein wenig charmanter eingerichtet sein.
Generally I don't really write reviews but this location just showed us what Iceland is all about. We got trapped here due to a snow storm and roads got closed. Omar and Margaret (owners of the hotel) from the start where very friendly and welcoming but during this difficult day they exceeded our expectations. They where patient and helpful to answer all our questions and help us reassure. Thanks to them we where able to make the most of this stormy day. The location is ideal for hiking and other activities has the hot terms of Vök. While we where waiting for the weather to get better, we made a snowman. Omar who saw us at work directly thought about the details and brought us carrots from the store. This little gesture showed us how much he loves this place and what they're building here. Many thanks from Joana & Quentin. Warm regards.

Close to town but hidden away in the trees so it seemed very private
We enjoy our stay in this amazing hotel, in the forest. Beautiful placed. With all you need. Good breakfast. Rooms are comfortable. Hot tubes are nice, expect in wintertime. Sparkling clean. The hosts are very kind and helpful. We can always recommend this hotel.

The best hotel we stayed in Iceland! The hotel is in a perfect location away from light pollution so there's a chance to spot the aurora. The cottage was really cute and had a kitchenette which allowed us to cook. What we appreciated most was that we were served a buffet breakfast on Christmas day even though we were the only guests! Thank you for your dedication to treat guests to the warmest hospitality.

While this hotel seems a bit dated, it was quite cozy. Size of room while not big but was decent with quite basic furnishing.
Dinner and breakfast was quite good and sufficient.
It is located away for buildings and houses making it a good place to observe the Northern Lights.

Hea hommikusöök. Tasuta soojaveega tünnid olid õhtu lõpetuseks mõnus boonus. Parkimist piisavalt. Võimalus süüa ka õhtusööki.
Otseselt midagi negatiivset ei oskagi kohe öelda. Islandi soojavee lõhn on üldine teema ja selle kohta ka sildid väljas. Soojavee tünnide kasutuseks võiks olla toas hommikumantlid.
