Great breakfast, nice view, can use hotel facilities, excellent service. Staff and service were stand out. 3 bedroom suite was overall quite spacious apart from one bedroom. Staff very helpful and helped us make bookings. Would return.

Bam was our receptionist. She was very polite and friendly. Her great smile and gentle personality have elevated the experience at the Anantara Chiang Mai resort.

Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with stunning views, everything exceeded my expectations.
The service is top, staff were friendly and helpful especially Khun Louis from Front desk and Khun Nalika from restaurant.
I will definitely come back again!

This was a one night stay in the serviced apartments chiang mai anatara. It was absolutely perfect for our family of four. A beautiful 2 bed apartment with the use of all the hotel facilities. The washing machine/tumble dryer saved us a fortune in laundry bills!
As always it was the staff that made the stay so special. Bam was incredibly helpful in helping us find our way around Chiang Mai.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect balance of comfort and style. The location was convenient. One of the staff at lobby is very helpful, I am very sorry that I forgot her name, maybe fem or dem?

Our stay was wonderful. What stood out the most was the staff. Fai helped us out with our check out and was outstanding. Overall everyone we encountered was magnificent. The cleaning staff around the property truly enjoy taking care of the place. The rooms were superb. We did breakfast twice in the morning and the food was very tasty with several options and a set menu. Visited the IV clinic for a little pick me up and was exactly what we needed to truly relax on our honeymoon. The 1921 Steak house had a very cozy feel to it and delicious cuisine. I wish we would have had more time to do everything they offer. Truly an experience.

Brilliant spacious rooms, cleaning staff visited twice a day. Breakfast had a nice spread and offered halal options which was labelled. You have to walk across the bridge or road to get to the main restaurant in the hotel part but I see this as a benefit as I could see my waist line increasing as all the food was lovely.

The best thing was all the staff greeted you with open smiles. Would happily stay here again.

The only con/bad point if I had to be critical. I went during a hot period so just outside the hotel I think there is a gutter and you have a sniff off sewage just in that one spot but honestly it didn't bother me. There is no smell anywhere else.

The hotel is located next to some of the night markets and the location is good.

Excellent experience. A shout out to desk staff Deng. Could get my flight check in. Deng took over using her phone and computer, called agoda, check in for me. She is amazing: intelligent efficient and friendly. All staff of Anantara are extremely friendly. A good experience .

The location is not far from the old city, near night market and a lot of nice cafes. The room is very big and there is washing machine in the room which is very useful to me! Even though the room is not located where can see the river view but it’s not too crowded here and quiet. The staffs are very friendly!

Everything about this stay was top notch. Our suite was very well-appointed, the beds/pillows VERY comfortable. Staff was great – in particular Palm, a reception person, who was most helpful with directions, luggage, local inquiries – pleasant/attentive and his English was perfect! Great location if you want to be a pedestrian. French bakery right around the corner. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Upfront: Just be aware that there are two building complexes across the street from each other, both the Anatara. The presumably original one is the conventional hotel located on the river. The other one is the "Serviced Suite" on the other side that looks to be newer. Both look very nice but just depends on what you need. We were traveling with an adult son, so we went with a Serviced Suite. The hotel's descriptions online are vague, but ours had two spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bath. There was also a common room with a living area, dining area and kitchen, which was very nice. So it was excellent as far as our needs since we could be together as a family. The staff were wonderful and even brought our son a beautiful cake and fruit arrangement on his birthday. Slight critique: the rooms were a bit dark and the view out the window was not the nicest, mostly other buildings.
However, you can walk across the street to the original hotel, which used to be a British Embassy. There you find all the lovely open-air restaurants, riverside breakfast buffet, pool and bar. I presume those hotel rooms look out onto the river. The hotel did a beautiful job (and is to be commended) on preserving the original British Embassy look and feel. The walls of the more formal restaurant are decorated in MI6/spy craft memorabilia, the waitresses wear period costumes, there is a private dining room called the "Map Room" that you access via a secret door in the bookshelves, the menu's are in a 1950's cold war typeface complete with redactions, and even the napkin holders look like brass knuckles, so lots of attention to detail. On top of that the meal was excellent! So high five on the decor and offerings of the wood-paneled classic bar and dining areas. Very extensive breakfast buffet including lattes on a lovely riverside patio.
Minor Caveat: We thought we understood that their high tea was complimentary, but be warned that it was not.

It was a very memorable moment for my family when we visited Anantara resort. We stayed in the suite room and was served by Rawit who spoked Chinese ! Was very happy with his service and the hospitality that was given by him, definitely will visit again in the future!

First time in Anantara Chang Mai suit.We had been for 3 day we met a good experience There are a nice atmosphere warm welcome and great service from Khun Rawit Khun Bright and Khun max who take care us .Thank you very much we hope to come back again .

My husband and I had a very nice stay at the Anantara resort. I can't say enough about the staff! They are THE most friendly, polite people you could ever hope to meet. Bright and Max were absolutely wonderful and really went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Our room was gorgeous and the housekeeping staff not only cleaned our room but added some nice touches (e.g., neatly rolled up any phone/tablet cords, even cleaned my hair brush!). The pool overlooked the Mae Ping River, which makes for a relaxing afternoon or evening. Anantara is a solid 5-star experience!!

This hotel room was perfect for family or friends gatherings. The 2-bedroom suite had 2 bathrooms and a separate living room, making it an ideal space for socializing. It even included laundry facilities, which is great for those considering a long-term stay. The rooftop pool was fantastic, and the overall experience was highly recommended. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional, making it one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Also the staff incredible experience, such good service from both the maid staff, breakfast, staff, and the receptionist.
