Athenaeum Grand Hotel

Great service, location is good

Lovely hotel room, 10/10 breakfast and super friendly staff. Really convenient location too!

We were not given the room with a view as I had reserved. The flooring outside the shower is rotted. The man that checked us in was not friendly or helpful upon arrival. His name was Emilio. The female supervisor, Katrina, was extremely friendly and very helpful. She actually took the time to explain to us how to get around.

Beside two strip joint, street was noisy,
Mattress was very dirty, they swapped me to a different room, the mattress was still dirty but less dirty than first one.
The bathroom of the second room, smelled like sewer, and was very damp. As a result I noticed the bathroom door wouldn’t close and it was due to the fact that water would not drain and rotten the wooden door.

This is a 3 star hotel. Staff were decent

Perfect view of the acropolis and the breakfast was amazing. Transfer from the airport and to the cruise ship pier was easy to set up too!

Staff was super nice and helpful. Hotel was lovely, clean, up to date. Location was a little off because it is inbetween two strip clubs. Very loud on weekends. Other than that a great stay!

Rooms are really grand in size (comparing to other European hotels).

Rooms marked with Acropolis view, are just a myth, you need binoculars to see Acropolis.

Also this hotel is next to a strip club, we got room on 1st floor, there was very noisy music till 1am in the morning, could hardly sleep.

The customer service was amazing. Ivonna was so friendly and helpful, if I could give her all the Stars I would.
The Property itself was nice however our bathroom did have water damage to the floor and door.
Other than that my experience was amazing at this Property.

Air conditioner is not working, need to call receptionist then they switch on, it will work for 2 hours need to call them again, called them 3am, no sleep.
Building next to it is strip club, you will hear noise until 1am.
Avoid this place.

Place location not family friendly. They keep turning ac off and we had to fall them multiple times in the middle of night.

The hotel is really nice

My room has an interesting smell from the shower room. The area was so loud on Saturday night because of bars and clubs near by. The noise last until 4 am.

Amazing. Everything here was superb. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Breakfast was absolute delicious. Room included everything we needed and more!

We stayed here our last night in Athens and It was wonderful. The staff was so very helpful, from arranging transportation from the Ferry and to the airport. The welcome gift for my birthday was so thoughtful and everyone was so kind and truly went advices and beyond. The penthouse suite had breathtaking views of the city . Robes and slippers available in room. Highly recommend on your next trip to Athens!

The staff at the reception area, the dining area were excellent. They were very helpful in answering our questions, made us feel at home, and attending to our needs/concerns in our hotel room. I would return to and made referrals to the Athenaeum Grand hotel.

Air con kept turning itself off after an hour and required us to get out of bed to turn it back on, just what you want when it's 38c
Before the second night of the stay we told the reception staff who said they'd send a technician which didn't happen.
2 sachets of coffee in the room, not replaced sure the first night.

Lots of commotion in the 2nd floor hallway on the second night. Got the impression lots of prostitutes were coming and going throughout our stay.
