Marriot hates Booking.com.

Don’t stay here
Pros:

We come here annually for a meeting and have stayed here before. Our family has reserved a room and even paid for one day early so we could have early check in but they cancelled our room when we checked in at 5 am.

The check in people were so unkind and rude. Very unhelpful. Didn’t matter we had the reservation number to verify. Totally unacceptable and never notified us they gave our room away.

No benefit being Bonvoy either, never helped us. They can do this because of the location but honestly this is such unethical for a Marriott.

Had a great weekend
Pros:

I stayed at the Marquis last month in April My friend and I were attending a comedy showcfor her Birthday. The hotel is a great location. I had no idea the wintrust Arena was attached to it. I didn't have to go outside which was a huge plus for me. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly especially Laura A. She checked me into a spacious corner room with a Beautiful view of the city. She explained the hotel to me and even gave me pointers on how to get around. I love the hotel and I will be back.

Fraudulent Room Advertisement
Cons:

Confusing with the room details.
Booking.com 2 Queens but the Marriott Marquis 1 King bed. Unacceptable to think you will force people to pay for something they did not purchase or agree to. You have lost my business for good.

Very nice hotel, it was busy due to what seemed to be a prom scheduled at the time.
Pros:

I paid for the breakfast package and appreciated the option to order from the menu or to have the buffet.

Cons:

I could overhear the staff complaining about guests in the restaurant during breakfast. I thought it was unprofessional.

Muy buen hotel, puede mejorar
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente si asistís al centro de convenciones McCormick. Después está un poco lejos del centro. El hotel es excelente en todos sus servicios.

Cons:

No me gustó que no tenía un minimarket. Es algo útil poder comprar agua, comida rápida, unas frutas, pero no tenía nada de eso. Me llamó la atención porque en otros Marriott lo había tenido.
