An okay stay but will look elsewhere for next visit to Canmore.
Pros:

Easy check-in/check-out.

Cons:

The place was tidy but not that clean. Walls and areas around light switches were all really dirty - one in bathroom had red streak on it, as did a wall in the kitchen. We had to do some spot cleaning in order to feel comfortable. The laundry area was dusty with used fabric softener sheets all around the area. There should have also been more supplies in the room, i.e. coffee, dishtowels, etc. (yes, we can always call the front desk and ask for more but we shouldn't have to if we're booked for more than 1 night). The parking lot spaces are really tight - even for a small vehicle. And realizing it is out of the resort's control, (hence the ear plugs they provide), still need to mention the train and traffic are quite loud and are a consideration when booking for next time.

Cons:

Can’t control the heater and staff is on about the email they sent me a day prior to check in

As I am very busy driving most of the day I obviously missed the email they sent. Also the hotel sent way too many messages and making the check in very stressful.
Don’t like the approach from the staff and his hand writing is too hard to read.

Cons:

I really loved everything about that hotel.
I would say the only downside was regular check in is at 4pm (which they gracefully moved ahead of time due to a snow storm) and check out being at 11am, which felt a bit short. But they were nice enough to accommodate an earlier request so 10/10!
