Hotel Lefkes

Avoid! They are liars and thieves! After I made a reservation, they stopped an advance payment (although it didn't say anywhere that an advance payment will be charged), and after I canceled during the free period, they didn't refund my advance payment of 550 euros. I called repeatedly and either they didn't answer or they lied to me using various excuses. Thieves! Avoid!

Hotel Lefkes is an absolute gem in Paralia Skotinis! The hosts were incredibly polite, attentive, and made us feel like part of the family. Their care and kindness went above and beyond – we truly felt at home.

The location is excellent – peaceful, yet close to the beach and tavernas. Our room had stunning views of the sea and Mount Olympus, and everything was spotless and comfortable.

If you’re looking for genuine hospitality, a relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable views, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

For this summer, even bigger rooms are renovated from floor to ceiling. So, the accomodation is completely refurnished and everything is new and modern. And food is still very tasty. We are coming back to "Hotel Lefkes" because of the proximity of the beach with a little shadow od pine trees, excellent service and kind, friendly people.

Hotel "Lefkes" is very pleasant and affordable, and it meets and exceeds expectations. It is a family-run business, and the owners are kind and attentive. It is very close to the beach. The food is excellent; there is a variety of sea food and grilled meat, and the daily offer consists of a few delicious local dishes. On Friday, they have music, and you can enjoy the sound of buzuki and dance with local people. The renovated rooms are double and triple. All in all, the hotel "Lefkes" is quite good accommodation, to which we are happy to return.

Old furniture ~1970 or so. Terrible checkout time, 8.30am max! Smelly towels (not properly dried). No wifi. 2 small soaps. Not very clean. 2/5. Greasy food, calamari smell like omelette! Greek salad without cheese! Avoid.

Great location near the sea, close to Mt. Olympus. The hotel isn't the most modern, but it has everything you need. The food was amazing. You should definitely try the grilled feta, it was our favourite!

Our family spent there 1 night while traveling to another destination. I found the price versus room condition was correct. The place is clean and gives good basic comfort. It might look like coming from old golden times. Anyhow, nothing to complain. On the other site the hotel`s restaurant is a very good choice with good regional food along with a house wine. Enjoy!

The "hotel", or rather apartment/room house seems not modernized at all since the 80s/90s, old TVs and refrigerators, bad internet to none in the rooms, awful water supply on the 3rd floor including not constant supply of hot water (that is why it should not be considered a "hotel"). Ants also can attack the rooms and the beds during night, probably due to irregular to no cleaning of the rooms/bedsheets, toilets, etc.
Minimalistic approach of this accommodation seems resemblant, with minimal supply of soaps, etc.
Location is convenient.
Food overall is good, but again minimalistic.
If you choose half-board, make sure to clarify to have all things on the menu included.
The staff cheats on telling things as not available, while other guests may get the same things asked by other - still cannot figure out why would someone call it half-board, if they limit the variety of the food provided.
The volume of the food is otherwise fine.
Breakfast is minimalistic, too, and things run out fast. Coffee...no comment!
Staff: some are very kind, others not...overall, they should learn to smile and be kind, as people go on vacation not to get moody service in a hotel, but to feel nice or better, to feel special during their time spent relaxing.
Not children friendly, staff at the restaurant get annoyed by children being around.
Mountain view rooms get the smell from the kitchen.

We had a pleasant surprise with this hotel. It is at a good location by the sea in one of the best places in the area between Katerini and Platamonas. Quiet, in contrast to nearby Katerini and other resorts. A perfect budget hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they speak English fluently, and the proprietor also speaks German. There is a large parking space for your vehicle even in the height of the season. Suitable for both a stopover or a longer holiday. The beach is right in front, sandy with small pebbles, shallow enough even for small children. It is good to have a car here - not only to reach the place but also for exploring the nearby Olympus mountain and the many beach areas around.
