Halte parfaite
Pros:

Grand établissement, chambre confortable et très bien équipée. Le soupe Islandaise en repas est excellente!

Cons:

Manque de chaleur avec ces grands couloirs style maison de repos :-)

Frühstücksauswahl war top!

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war sehr weit weg vom Pool. Der Mitarbeiter konnte kaum Englisch.

Pros:

The hotel is located in a very quiet secluded place, and did not fail to supply us with Northern Lights just at the doorstep every night :)

Great option if the weather clears for northern lights.
Pros:

Spacious room. Middle of nowhere so a better chance of seeing the northern lights, we saw them :)

Cons:

With it being slightly in the middle of nowhere dinner options were limited. I did message the day before asking about booking dinner but they only replied 20 minutes before our check in time saying that they had a table of 40 booked so wasn't really an option. Arguably it's not their fault but it was a bit annoying as we had to go back to the local town that we'd just driven thru before checking in (15 minutes away) not a big deal but we were hungry 🤣😭

Pros:

La première impression n'est pas toujours la bonne 😅.
La 2eme impression est donc la suivante:
La chambre est très propre et fonctionnelle.
Le jacuzzi est très bien après une bonne journée.
C'est un peu loin de tout alors on a testé le restaurant, c'est bon/ copieux avec des prix Islandais mais c'est partout pareil.
Petit dej au top
Bref, rien à redire de notre côté

Verspricht mehr als es halten kann.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist aufgeräumt und verfügt über alles notwendige. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

Cons:

Es wird sich ein wenig auf dem Charme der vergangenen Jahre ausgeruht. Die Besitzer haben gewechselt und man merkt, dass nicht mehr so viel Liebe fürs Detail da ist. Die Reparaturen sind meist eher selbst gekittet, der Jacuzzi schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und das Frühstück zwar Standard, aber nicht besonders. Unser Zimmer war ebenfalls etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Es war okay, aber ich finde die extrem positiven Rezessionen auf booking, habe ich nicht so erlebt. Schade, wir haben uns leider nicht so wohl gefühlt.
Wer es abgelegen mag, findet ihr einen guten Ort, aber von der Hauptstraße 1 sind es wirklich 15Fahrt, gerade bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ist die Strecke sehr zerrend.

Una experiencia fantástica
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena sobre todo si quieres ver auroras boreales. El hôtel está fenomenal, limpio y el desayuno muy rico. La persona de la recepción, una chica encantadora que nos avisó cuando empezaron a verse las auroras boreales. Muy recomendable.
