Important information:

Please note that breakfast is served at The Highlander Hotel, located 328 feet away. The property doesn't have a parking option, but there are two nearby garages, one is Qpark Amsterdam Central (Prins Hendrikkade 20 a, 1012 TL Amsterdam) and Qpark Nieuwedijk (Nieuwezijds Kolk 18, 1012 PV Amsterdam) where you can park and pay or reserve your parking spot in advance online. Airport shuttle is available with an extra fee, if you would like to book a taxi transport we can organize it on your behalf. The cost of a regular car (up to 4 people) is aproximately €65 with an off-peak transit time of 30 minutes or mini-van taxi cost is aproximately €85. From January 2024, Amsterdam will change it's tourist tax on hotel rooms to a flat rate of 12,5%, a change from the previous tax structure of 7% of the room rate plus €3 per person. If your reservation was made prior to January 2024 you will be asked to pay the new City Tax upon arrival to the hotel. If you have any further questions please give us a call or send us an email. Please beware that the credit card owner must be present at arrival with the physical credit card provided for the payment plus identity card or passport for a security check. If the credit card provided for the payment does not belong to the original booker (guest) who will be present at arrival we may mark the credit card as invalid and request an update of a credit card. In case a third party wants to pay for the reservation, it is not a problem, in that case, we kindly ask you to contact us by email and we will send you the link to fulfill the payment via bank transfer. In the case that this payment procedure is not followed, be aware that a different payment method will be requested upon arrival. Please beware that our property is a monumental building from the 17 century and some floors have six to nine, characteristic Amsterdam, steps (no elevator).

A luggage room is available for guests who arrive early.
Guests checking in after 17:00 are required to collect their key from our big sister hotel, The Highlander located across the street, 558 feet from the property. Additional instructions will be provided after booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.

Great accommodation in Amsterdam

Loved our 2 nights here!
We enjoyed an added "Love Package" for our 50th Wedding Anniversary, with rose petals, wine & a poem written on our bathroom mirror 😀
Our transport dropped us at The Highlander which was the main hotel. Receptionist "Hen" made us a cuppa so we could relax before helping us take our baggage to Highland House a short walk away.
Adnan assisted us with check-in, took our bags upstairs & was extremely friendly & helpful with directions to places we wanted to go.
A digital key was a great addition that worked well & there was a safe in the room.
A wonderful breakfast was served daily at the main hotel & there are free drinks & nibbles there from 12pm to 12am!
We stayed in The Den (names instead of room numbers). The room was compact but totally enjoyable, with a very comfortable bed.
No complaints here, an excellent stay.

Pros:

Cons:

Small, not much room to place the luggage. Toilet was separate from sink to wash your hands. Needs some hooks to hang things. Stairs were awkward.
