Please note that breakfast is served at The Highlander Hotel, located 328 feet away. The property doesn't have a parking option, but there are two nearby garages, one is Qpark Amsterdam Central (Prins Hendrikkade 20 a, 1012 TL Amsterdam) and Qpark Nieuwedijk (Nieuwezijds Kolk 18, 1012 PV Amsterdam) where you can park and pay or reserve your parking spot in advance online. Airport shuttle is available with an extra fee, if you would like to book a taxi transport we can organize it on your behalf. The cost of a regular car (up to 4 people) is aproximately €65 with an off-peak transit time of 30 minutes or mini-van taxi cost is aproximately €85. From January 2024, Amsterdam will change it's tourist tax on hotel rooms to a flat rate of 12,5%, a change from the previous tax structure of 7% of the room rate plus €3 per person. If your reservation was made prior to January 2024 you will be asked to pay the new City Tax upon arrival to the hotel. If you have any further questions please give us a call or send us an email. Please beware that the credit card owner must be present at arrival with the physical credit card provided for the payment plus identity card or passport for a security check. If the credit card provided for the payment does not belong to the original booker (guest) who will be present at arrival we may mark the credit card as invalid and request an update of a credit card. In case a third party wants to pay for the reservation, it is not a problem, in that case, we kindly ask you to contact us by email and we will send you the link to fulfill the payment via bank transfer. In the case that this payment procedure is not followed, be aware that a different payment method will be requested upon arrival. Please beware that our property is a monumental building from the 17 century and some floors have six to nine, characteristic Amsterdam, steps (no elevator).

-Falta un espacio para colocar las maletas en la habitación de tres, también faltan perchas o espacio para colgar la ropa de tres tanto en la habitación como en el baño.
-Pedimos más papel higiénico y cambio de toallas porque no se secaban al no tener espacio para poder extenderlas mínimamente (solo había tres pequeños ganchos muy juntos en un rincón del baño por lo que las toallas quedaban amontonadas); y no nos hicieron caso.
-El precio de la habitación desorbitado para la calidad y servicio que ofrece
Location was the best thing of the property, and also beds and pillows very comfortable
We were three girls. And the 3bed room is too small for three people, no space for luggages or anywhere to put clothes! Also, toilet and bathroom are separate and the toilet does not has a sink in which is very inconvenient!
As far as cleaning goes, very average, the room was “cleaned” every day but all the surfaces were dusty (extreme levels) and the toilet was not properly cleaned!!
Very small thin mirror, table also small with one chair (3bed bedroom) . For the price you pay this was below average stay.
Soundproofing is also awful! We could hear people upstairs and also from outside.
Breakfast is in a hotel opposite street which is not mentioned when you book (trap) and it’s very average. The scrambled eggs were smelly, and also mushrooms. Yogurt good, and bacon gets 5/5 ! Coffee is also awful, was going to a coffee shop nearby “fournos” to get some proper one.
Also the air-condition tray almost fell on out head for no reason.
Staff are very nice, and helpful, they obviously helped with the tray but I feel they were not considerate enough as this could be pretty serious. They just said oh this is how the aircon is we will send technician to check. Four star hotels or any hotel of this price would offer you something for the inconvenience.
Overall not satisfied, waste of money.

The early morning walk to the breakfast in a hotel across the road. Also install hooks for putting clothes in the washroom and room as there was no place to hang clothes.

The hotel is in a good location near Centraal Station. The rooms are all themed and we had the music room, which was nice as it had a disco ball and lights. It also had a record player and selection of records to play. The room was a good size and relatively silent which was great given the location we were not disturbed by the surrounding environment.
The staff were really friendly at check-in also and this was a nice way to arrive.
The main issue and why we would mark it down, relates to overall cleanliness and housekeeping which could be significantly improved. The room overall was ok, but lots of surfaces are being missed for wipe down and there was lots of dust in the room and particularly in the toilet on the door and floor.
It has lots of potential but further attention to detail on housekeeping would greatly improve it and make the price seem more worth it as it definitely was overpriced based on the standards.
