Pros:

10min walk to ximending, beimen, Taipei main station - so transport and getting around was really easy. my room was really modern as well, facilities like the bed and toilet was really clean and comfortable

Compact, clean and conveniently located this affordable hotel suited our budget and needs.
Pros:

CitizenM was very well located and well priced accommodation close and within walking distance to the Ximending area. As with all their properties, the room is compact leaving limited room for numerous pieces of luggage. Bed was very comfortable and there were breakfast and bar facilities available. Breakfast was a little basic in its offering and options the same during our three day stay, but it sufficed. Nice and quiet hotel with good city view from large window, well located and priced.

Cons:

Funcitionality in room controlled by iPad which was great, however, ours had a freeze. Fortunately Reception Team were able to reset quite quickly and we were up & running once again. Having to climb over my partner in the middle of the night to go to bathroom was a bit inconvenient.

Funky formula that works
Pros:

The self check-in worked well with staff on hand to assist. The rooms were well-designed and the bed and pillows very comfortable. It’s a formula that really works. Our only concern was the lack of a kettle, but on asking a kettle and 2 mugs were supplied within minutes.

Good location, friendly with a good vibe but rooms are very small and overall quite expensive.
Pros:

Location is perfect. Central, near MRT and train station and in middle of lively district with lots of shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The size of the room is very small. Couldn't even open my bag fully

Great hotel, great area, loved everything about it.
Pros:

We super loved the location - it's walking distance going to train stations and Ximending which is a big plus, the room wasn't too big BUT it has enough space for our luggage. The iPad controlled room is also great, I love the alarm settings - it would really make you wake up the moment the iPad alarms. Hot water in the rest room, really good shampoo/bodywash! ◡̈ Self-check in and out was very efficient too. The common space is really good as well.

Cons:

None at all. Too bad we didn't avail the brekkie. I bet it would have been good too.

Pros:

Great design hotel located at Beimen, between Taipei Main station and Xi Men Ding. Happy hour between 5-8pm at hotel’s bar. Room was quiet, comfortable and offered big windows (a rarity in Taipei).

Cons:

Towels were replaced daily despite being hung up. More wall hooks to hang stuff would be nice.
