Acropolis Stay

Hotel is centrally located and convenient to area attractions and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The front desk staff repeatedly went above and beyond for us. Our daughter had a late change to her study abroad program and had to stay two extra nights. But Acropolis Stay was booked up, so we put her in another hotel nearby. The front desk receptionist walked her over to the other hotel and carried her luggage for her! And Yanna gave her personal number and told her to call her "Greek Mother" if she needed anything while she was studying in Greece! I would give this place 10 stars just because of Yanna! We love her so much.

"Located an easy 5-minute walk from the Plaka and the lower entrance to the Acropolis, Acropolis Stay is very well situated for a few days exploring the tourist highlights of Athens. Our host was generous with her time and gave great advice on how to explore the Plaka (just meander and get lost), which roads lead home, and which areas to avoid. Enjoy the food and drink, stay hydrated, and avoid the midday heat. The apartment was comfortable for the two of us, and the kitchen was more than adequate, with very welcome air conditioning. We would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Athens."

Incredible staff - so nice and helpful, giving advice and suggestions of where to go and accommodating all our requests.

Great location - within walking distance of many of the key touristy sites and nightlife and only 15mins to the beach.

Facilities were great, good aircon, wifi and a lovely roofterrace. The kitchen had everything you need for short or long stays. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location close to all of the main attractions of Athens. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. There are stairs to the rooms but staff were willing to help with luggage. Overall it was an excellent choice for a short stay in Athens!

INCREDIBLE location! Everything is within walking distance. There is even a bank ATM on the corner. The staff gave us EXCELLENT recommendations on where to eat and what to see. The rooms are very nice and comfortable like your own apartment.

The staff was amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat. We walked everywhere, and we were touring for 3 days, 2 parents and 2 teens. Highly recommend!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay during our time in Athens. The hotel was a very short walk to the Acropolis, Plaka, restaurants, and many other highlights of the city. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcome and comfortable. We were early to check in and George not only made us nice espressos, he gave us many tips on where to go and how to get there. He then helped us with the luggage elevator and made certain we knew how everything in the room worked. Yianni was also an absolute joy to chat with and she genuinely cares for guests and their experience. She made sure our transfer to the port after our stay was flawless. The hotel room itself was comfortable, spacious, spotless and well equipped. When I say spotless, I mean absolutely spotless! I will be booking with the Acropolis Stay for all my future trips to Athens!

Large room, close to the acropolis with very helpfull staff. The room was spotless and great facilities such as coffee machine, all kitchen essentials etc.

We wish we had an extended stay. Great location, close to everything able to walk everywhere. Staff is so helpful and accommodating. Stuffed our pockets with cookies and offered cold water every time we went to the lobby. How often would an owner of an establishment actually take the time to walk you and your family to different restaurants and a convenience store when you ask where you could get a phone charger and a good place to eat. Kept our bags before we checked in so we could enjoy the city and after we checked out because we had a late flight. Basically gave us an extra day of exploring the different venues in Athens. Unbelievable customer service. The room was larger than we expected. Clean and room for the three of us. Great water pressure for the shower. Can’t wait to go back and when we do we will be staying here again for sure.

We liked the personal service from George and his attentiveness to our needs. The rooms were very cleverly designed to make the best use of limited space. The luggage elevator was a sensible way to get bags upstairs without having to have a full size elevator.

Large room and well located near the Acropolis but we couldn't get it cool, dark or quiet. My wife awoke with several bug bites that we believe came from the couch. I don't think it's worthy of TA's Traveller's Choice designation nor Rick Steve's recommendation.

Location could not be beat. The room was modern and so clean and the bed was super comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind and informative and helpful. One of the nicest experiences on our travels. Book here and you will not regret it.

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect, the place was spotless. Yianna was an amazing host who truly went above and beyond to help us. She paid attention to all the little details and made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout our stay. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again.
