Lovely host
L'accueil et le service proposé par l’hotel et par le personnel est parfait. Un taxi est venu nous chercher à la gare aux frais de l’hotel (pareil pour le retour). L’hotel mettait à disposition gratuitement des scooters électriques (car l’hotel est à 10 15min en scooter du centre ville, mais c’est parfait car très calme). Le personnel est au petit soin : le service est excellent !
La vue de la chambre sur les montagnes étaient très belle.
The hotel is ideally located just outside Guilin, around a 15-minute drive from the city centre, in a calm and relaxing area surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
The host and staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional throughout the stay. The room was clean, well maintained, and featured a very comfortable bed. The hotel also offers very good lunch and dinner options, making it easy to enjoy quality meals on site if you don't want to eat at the near by restaurants which are also excellent. The complimentary transfer from the train station is a thoughtful bonus.
A particular highlight was the one-hour massage included with the booking, which was excellent.
Qing, our tour guide and driver, was friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable. The Lijiang Photography Tour + Ruyi Peak Scenic Area day tour was especially memorable and very well organised.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel the Longji Rice Terraces tour the following day due to torrential rain and landslides, which was naturally beyond the hotel’s control.
Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, enhanced by attentive hospitality and a peaceful setting.
The room could benefit from additional space or fixtures to hang clothes more comfortably. Breakfast was excellent in quality, although the selection remained somewhat limited.

Unordnung im und ausserhalb des Hotels, aber nicht im Zimmer. Etwas schwer zu finden, da auf den ersten Blick das Hotel von aussen nicht erkennbar ist.
Amazing views, great breakfast and very comfortable beds. Location is good - a little bit outside the city center, but it is nicely quiet. The hotel provides free electric scooters which is great transportation around Guilin
On the outside it needs a bit of love.
Suburban setting, birds chirping early in the morning. The coffee was good, brewed by the owner himself, but the food choice was not attractive, either local Chinese noodle or western toast and fried egg, same for all 3 days.
Poor soundproofing, opening and closing of doors can be heard loudly. Very dark surroundings at night, even taxi drivers feel uncomfortable. Far from city center.
The property was very clean and spacious. I especially liked the free scooters provided at no fuss, to explore the surrounding areas and cruise into the city for supplies. Free breakfast was also a nice touch.

Очень милое местечко с классным сервисом, бесплатным байком и прачечной. Очень хороший хозяин отеля, во всем помогает. Приятный номер, уютный, есть балкон, вкусный чай и мандаринки. До Яншо выгоднее ехать с ним за 200 юаней, чем на поезде + такси (по итогу самим вышло дороже). Место - великолепное, мы влюбились в Гуйлинь и Яншо!
It was in a perfect location. The manager of the property would do anything for you. Over and above!!!! The free hire of the electric scooters was a major bonus. My wife and I had a wonderful massage and this was also free.
All up, great hotel and great service.
When we first got there, we thought what have we done. But the place grows on you. It was so sad to hear the story how Covid destroyed the area, so many empty properties. Felt sorry for the locals.

We were five people and they gave us this beautiful villa with two bedrooms, well decorated, clean and so aesthetically beautiful! The place is in a gated area full of ancient looking traditional style Chinese buildings, the breakfast area was close to the property and it had fresh meals, fruit and coffee or tea. I can’t wait to go back to Guilin just to stay here again!
Additional pro: the property gave us e-bikes that we could use to go for a ride around the countryside area!!!
