Perfect place for a short stay during your trip

Great stay with reasonable cost
Pros:

Beautiful place, clean, new rooms (huts), well decorated, elegant restaurant, hot springs (we didn’t use). We stayed in a 2 bedroom hut. Very reasonably priced. It also has a smart TV and full kitchen.

Cons:

Wifi in our building didn’t work and they didn’t seem to care and help. We had to climb up to the ceiling to restart the access point. Also you need to rent towels for the hot spring if you don’t have towels.

Pros:

La habitación era bastante amplia. El baño era compartido y alguna vez lo encontrabas ocupado. La cocina muy grande y completa.

Cons:

La zona de la piscina termal estaba un poco abandonada. Sauna muy pequeña. Pero hay que tener en cuenta que era un servicio gratuito.

Séjour 2 nuits pour explorer la péninsule.
Pros:

la situation. Les équipements. La propreté. Literie OK. 2 spacieuses SDB WC pour 6 chambres + 1 WC. cuisine très bien équipée. Le hot pot et sauna à discrétion. Parking ok. Possibilité de restauration (pas testée).

Cons:

Chambre petite. Un groupe qui a bu et fais la fête tard dans la nuit nous obligeant à intervenir !

God valuta for pengene, synd det kun ble en natt her.

Tilbaketrukket, ryddig, pent, stille, god middag/frokost, stor og fin leilighet. God parkering.

Great location. Facility was exceptionally clean

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some sort of coffee maker available versus instant coffee. As well,it was difficult to keep the windows open at night which resulted in a stuffy room while trying to sleep.

A good place for an overnight stop
Pros:

I really liked this place - it is very cleverly designed. The rooms are really small which was inconvenient but the large kitchen/lounge area was nice. There were two refrigerators, plenty of kitchen equipment, and lots of counter space. It was all very clean. It was easy to use the shared bathrooms - there were three. Two were just for one gender but the doors locked so it didn't really matter. It could be a problem if there were a lot of people and you wanted a long shower. Parking was free and easy.

Cons:

We tried to watch some sports on the tv but there were no instructions and we couldn't get it to work. We did go to the natural hot soak area when it was supposed to open at 8 but when we arrived a staff person was skimming off the algae. It was in a pretty spot but there was enough stuff growing on the benches that it was slippery and not so appealing.

Apart from that, we had a great stay and would happily recommend the resort.
Pros:

The cabins are fantastic – modern, spacious, beautifully designed, and very well equipped. The location is also excellent.

Cons:

What really surprised us, though, was the 15,000 ISK cleaning fee if you don’t clean the kitchen before check-out. For a 4-star resort, I would expect the final cleaning to be included in the price. It makes you wonder… what’s next? Will guests be charged extra for not washing the towels or making the beds?

The washing machine in the bathroom was a nice touch, but I honestly hope it wasn’t there because guests are expected to do the housekeeping as well. 😄

Ottimo hotel per famiglie con vasca calda esterna
Pros:

Appartamento spazioso, confortevole, ideale per famiglie. Ottima la presenza di una lavatrice e asciugatrice nell’appartamento. La piscina calda esterna e la piccola sauna sono una vera chicca! Il laghetto freddo è invece un’opzione percorribile solo per gli islandesi, visto che è 4° C ! 😅

Cons:

La cucina potrebbe essere un po’ più equipaggiata (non c’era un tostapane, le stoviglie erano “giuste” per quattro persone), ma era comunque soddisfacente.

Pros:

Das Resort hat eine tolle Lage. Wir hatten ein Haus zu viert. Es war das größte Haus auf unserer Island-Tour und war top ausgestattet. Eine Küche mit allem was man braucht, ein großes Ess- Wohnzimmer und zwei große Schlafzimmer, ein Badezimmer sogar mit Waschmaschine. Leider waren wir hier nur eine Nacht, da könnte man es auch länger aushalten. Im Restaurant ist Abendessen oder Frühstück möglich.

Frábær veitingastaður og Spa. Hreinlæti mjög gott. Skemmtileg upplifun.

Cons:

Við vorum 18 manna hópur og margir í hópnum lentu í slæmum flugnabitum. Hefði hjálpað af hafa lúsmýsnet og viftur.
