A great place, close to the old city, and the airport. Clean, brilliant staff.

Great place, nice location

Beautiful birdsong, the distant sound of temple bells, and the landscaping of plants. I spent five days meditating in my room. It made me wish to spend my later years in a hotel like this in Thailand after retirement.

Lovely hotel close to the airport and Central Airport shopping mall but very quiet and peaceful.

Staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel! Quite, clean, a lot of parking, nice staff, and not too far from all of the market. I have no complaints about the hotel especially 7/11 was at the front of the hotel. The house keeping was so thoughtful even I didn’t let them clean my room during the stay but they still left me with clean towel and water bottles at my door everyday.

I’m not Thai but The XYM is a great place to stay. Perfect location and a short distance away from both the international airport and the old city area. There is also a western style gourmet food market and a shopping center a short distance and easy walk nearby. There’s also the hotel’s coffee shop,7-11, pharmacy and traditional Thai hot pots restaurants nearby …

Great place to stay. Close to the airport without the usual aircraft noise. Surrounded by many restaurants and dining options, a convenience store and a coffee shop. A major shopping center and two western style supermarkets are at a easily walkable distance. Located off street in a very quiet location. Great staff, the bed sheets are both clean and crisp and the hot water is hot. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The XYM is my only go to place to stay when I’m in Chiang Mai …

Great place to stay along with being conveniently located near the Airport. The hotel is very close to Central Airport Plaza (shopping center) a Thai style open market and two western style supermarkets all are within walking distance.
There are several restaurants close which includes traditional Thai, Thai style hot pot, Japanese cuisine and Thai street food carts are just one street away.

The staff is helpful and accommodating and the hotel is very well maintained.

Motorbike rentals are available at the XYM which means you can explore the city and the surrounding country side at your own pleasure.

problems at check in. lamps and decorations hanging way under 6ft for head space.

Bathroom was clean. Thanks for keeping them clean. Our bathroom did not have a bathtub but other than that, I was very pleased

Overall, wasn’t too bad - for the discounted price, I wasn’t in the main hotel but in a separate building on the 2nd floor which appeared to be inferior rooms. The bed was super hard, the pillows the same - I ended up using 2 towels rolled up for pillows as the supplied pillows were too high & hard to be comfortable. My hair brush went missing. Not a cheap one either. They also left my immigration form I needed to leave the country with, in their photo copy machine - thank goodness I checked my passport folder. The coffee shop affiliated with the hotel is strictly coffee & limited pastries. Also closes at 6pm. Wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel in overall is ok, not good not bad. But they could provide some small drink or coffee for the customer. The location is quite good, in town and near the airport.

This is an ideal overnight hotel if you have an early flight or arrive late in Chiang Mai. It is very close to the airport. There is a 7-11 and an excellent coffee shop just outside the gate. Airport Plaza is a 10 minute walk away. And Rimping Grocery store is five minutes away. The hotel is away from the road and not under the flight path so the noise level is OK. Very good value with a swimming pool....if you are not expecting a four star hotel. I have stayed here 3 times over 4 years....the place is well maintained.
(Not walking distance to Old City or Night Bazaar)
