Best of Kandy
Pros:

Sarath, the owner is the best guy you can find in Sri Lanka. The hotel is his own home, and we accidentally ended up for Christmas Day there. We had a chat and ended up at his family’s dinner party. The best experience!!! Complementary drinks, etc. THE BEST TIME in Sri Lanka. Saratah is very smart and soooo easy going. We do not have the time, but would love to come back!!!

Super fijn verblijf door hele vriendelijke host. Heel schoon en ruim appartement, op loopafstand van veel restaurants.

Om bij de ingang te komen moet je een stukje stijl omhoog lopen.

Rustgevend in een drukke plaats zoals Kandy
Pros:

Charmante kamers met een mooi aangelegde tuin. Kamers met comfortabele bedden en douche met warm water. Aangename, verzorgde dienstverlening: we voelden ons welkom. Ontbijt was lekker en bood een combinatie tussen Sri Lankaans ontbijt en toast.

Cons:

Hoog gelegen in een niet toeristisch gebied van Kandy, het was een uitdaging om door de centrale baan te geraken omwille van het verkeer, maar het gaf ons de kans om direct kennis te maken met de Tuk-Tuk-cultuur

Pros:

We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. Excellent!

Manzarası ve temizliği çok güzeldi. Yatakta uyku için rahattı. Yastık seçenekleri olması bizi mutlu etti.

Cons:

Taharet musluğu bozuktu. Klimadan çok fazla ses geliyordu uykusu hafif olanlar için sorun olabilir.

Fijn verblijf bij liefdevolle gastvrouw
Pros:

Fijne eenvoudige kamer met waterkoker en goede airco op een mooi plekje aan de rand van het dorp tegenover een cafe met een waanzinnig uitzicht. Ontzettend lieve gastvrouw die op het tetrasje voor de kamer een enorm uitgebreid ontbijt serveert, ook voor mijn zoon met coeliakie. Dankjewel!

Cons:

Beetje lastig te vinden, en de berg die je op moet is net iets hoger dan je denkt.
