Friendly staff although poorly staffed with no porter and one receptionist
No elevator, no hot water, no parking, very loud next to noisy alley. We had to park far away. Had to carry suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. No handrails on stairs. Receptionist helped take luggage upstairs. Receptionist and cleaner did help bring luggage down the next morning.
Wir haben (ungefragt) beim check in ein kostenloses upgrade für das Zimmer erhalten mit Whirl-Pool. Alle waren sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das gesamte Hotel äusserst geschmackvoll.
Alles war sehr schön.
All the staff were very thoughtful and friendly. Housekeeping was good, conceirge was very good with recommendations. We stayed in the newer building. Bed was super comfy. The in room jacuzzi had nice hot water. The space was very big. It was very quiet at night even though we were right in the middle of old town. Even the hotel's residential neighbors were friendly and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful... we loved the assortment of pastries and the yogurt to start our day. Overall, we were taken care of very well.
Not so much that we didn't like anything - more a nice to have. Full length mirror would be nice. Given we went during a rainy season, would be nice to have a door towel at the entrance. Because of all the stairs, would be nice to have some arm handles. The shared patio faced our room directly where we would also be able to step out for fresh air; while that's nice, I can see how it can be a bit of a concern for privacy. Perhaps a privacy glass and/or time restriction for when the patio can be used. We don't have a lot of people use the patio during our stay though, overall, not a big concern.
Schöne Räumlichkeiten
ZIMMER: Fenster lediglich zu einem Lichtschacht. Badezimmer schlecht konstruiert: offene Toiletten, Dusche überschwemmt alles (entweder ein Vorhang oder mehr Abstand zum Restbad). Es war kontinuierlich ein Klopfen zu hören und die Wasserleitungen.
PERSONAL: freundlich aber nicht serviceorientiert genug (für 5 Sterne). Teils haben wir uns selbst mit Getränken versorgt (obwohl es a la carte Frühstück war).
FRÜHSTÜCK: irgendwas war immer „nicht mehr“ vorhanden (Avocado, alternative Milch); es fehlten lokale Spezialitäten und saisonales Obst (Dakos, griechischer Joghurt, Honig, Granatapfel, Feigen, Avocado). Mit wenig Aufwand wäre hier ein besonderes Erlebnis möglich.

1 - felt like the booking.com pictures catfish a little. We booked a room with a patio, but it isn't really a patio. There is no where to sit, and what is classed as your outdoor space basically feels like a dark hole with no natural light surrounded by tall walls. Our room had basically no natural light so felt a bit like being in a cave.
2 - the walls are so thin. We would be woken up by doors opening and closing, people talking or walking in the corridor.
3 - indoor pool only and only has two beds that you can book out for 50 mins a day and is right next to where everyone is eating breakfast.
I also found the bed quite uncomfortable and it is pushed up against the wall so just generally more uncomfortable for one persons side to get in and out.
Exceptionnel ! L’équipe est charmante et attentionnée, la suite avec jaccuzzi était incroyable. L’hôtel est très bien situé. L’accès au spa privatisé chaque jour est un plus très appréciable. Le cachet en lui même de l’hôtel dans un ancien monastère en font un merveilleux souvenir.

Not exactly a hot tub more of a bath on the roof which was a struggle to fill with water, The water pressure dropped out on multiple times. Staff and location were excellent. Just very disappointed because we booked it for location and hot tub and the latter was poor

We stayed for 6 nights and had a 1 year old, it was our first family holiday and all the staff were absolutely fantastic. They made us feel very welcome and engaged with our baby everyday, making her laugh and playing with her. In general the staff were amazing at their jobs. Helen, Iro, Stella and all of the women were so lovely. The food at the restaurant was amazing, for the price as well, we ate there 2 nights. The breakfast was really good as well, nice options and good quality. The pool was a nice bonus and available every day we wanted to use it. The cleaner was really lovely and did a great job every day. The receptionist organised taxis for us most days which was great. It will be hard to find a better hotel experience for future holidays, thats for sure!!!
