Awefull stay, waste of hard earned money

Being at the beach and food at Rooftop bar and at Sexyfish restaurant.

Cons:

The garden view rooms are dumps, it shouldnt even be advertised to the public. Bed was uncomfortable, like sleeping on a bag of flour. Mattress was torn. Mozzie net had holes in it. Old airconditioner and fan was noisy , couldnt sleep. Switched it off, then couldnt sleep due to the heat. Doesnt even include a basic coffee station. The doorlock got jammed and i was stuck inside until eventually a staff member came past. Maintenance broke pieces of the door off and kicked it. I couldnt call reception as the room didnt have a phone.I got upgraded after 4 nights of this to a pool view room with a fridge that leaked water . I put a sign outside on the door for room to be cleaned and nobody cleaned it. I had to use my own personal towel to wipe the floor. At the Fatfish restaurant they tried to serve me a plate of prawns and chips which was cold and old. I sent it back twice. It was clearly made earlier in the day and just served at night. Restaurant manager apologised and said i can have my cocktail at half price, but it was happy hour and half price anyway! I left without having dinner. My last night i ate there again and ordered butter chicken. What a mess!!! I got a few tough pieces of chicken in a watery mess with pieces of tomato. The chefs at Fatfish really can not cook!!! At breakfast another guest and i asked for omelettes, we asked 5 times and each time the chef wanted to give us burnt scrambeld eggs!!! We both just walked away. There were other problems with the staff booking excursions too. I told them the taxi driver they booked me drove like a crazy person and used my transfer i paid 80 USD for to do his own personal shopping, leaving the car with me in it parked in the middle of a busy road. The staff i told who booked it, lauged and thought it was funny. The reception staff are not helpfull at all. Once the property has your money, you are treated like you are in the way. I worked and saved a whole year for a week holiday to have this aweful experience.

The best location and nice stuff
Pros:

The best location, really nothing can be better than this! Also the stuff was super friendly and helpful, especially Indian guy from the reception and another one at the breakfast! They gave late check-out for some rooms and their service was really great!

On the other hand breakfast variety can be improved but I still could choose enough food for me. Rooms are simple but comparing to the price I cant complain at all. Overall I am very happy to choose this place and it’s not our first time!

Breakfast can be improved and rooms can be added some decors to make them more cozy.

Everything , the room is so bad the mattress is a rock, this is the most bad hotel i have ever tried in my life. Everything is so bad, not recommended at all nothing is good, imagin they dont have lockers in the room! No catle, always noise outside people working at midnight with noise work. The room is so bad

La struttura è impeccabile, credo una delle migliori per il rapporto qualità prezzo! Si trova al centro di Nungwii, accanto alla spiaggia principale, la sera a piedi è facilmente raggiungibile la strada principale dove ci sono negozi, ristoranti e molte persone. La struttura è davvero molto bella: una piscina bellissima sempre rigenerata, proprio sul mare in cui è bellissimo vedere il fenomeno delle maree dalla palafitta. La reception è gentile, al nostro arrivo hanno deciso di farci un regalo: ci hanno dato la camera vista piscina e vista mare senza costi aggiuntivi, che abbiamo apprezzato molto! La camera veniva pulita se richiesto (tramite cartellino fuori la porta) con cambio asciugamani e sempre due bottiglie d’acqua, le sdraio, tavolini, ombrelloni, sempre tutto pulito. Se dovessi ritornare a Zanzibar, sceglierei questa struttura sempre!

Non ci è piaciuta la colazione, poco vasta e molto salata con poca scelta di dolce. Il ristorante non l’abbiamo mai provato , ma non era molto gradevole l’odore che proveniva
