For an authentic stay in Matera
Pros:

Very charming small hotel located in the center of the Sassi in Matera. You have all the comfort you need while enjoying the history of the place. Location is absolutely perfect and staff and owner are very friendly

Pros:

Where do I start? Such a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Sassi. It has been decorated beautifully and a teal personal touch with the owner coming around at breakfast time to meet the guests. Staff were wonderful. Would thoroughly recommend

Pros:

O hotel é lindo e super limpo! A localização é muito boa, quartos espaçosos e ao mesmo tempo que estão nas cavernas, conseguem ter um ar de moderno/limpo. Serviço incrível também!

Cons:

A cama não era tão confortável mas não foi nada que atrapalhou muito a estadia. O preço do estacionamento e transfer do estacionamento é alto em comparação com outros lugares. Pagamos €30 pra a van (ida e volta) e mais €20 para o estacionamento.

Pros:

This is a really unique property which has been thoughtfully and sensitively restored with tasteful interiors and wonderful staff. We had the most exceptional breakfast here ; complete with someone playing the piano whilst we enjoyed the delicious spread !

A marvellous experience
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Corte San Pietro and would highly recommend it ! The thing we loved the most were the people, they were so welcoming, warm, and thoughtful and made your time there special! The breakfast had so many options, with lots of local fresh produce, and you were able to enjoy it with piano playing in the background ! The location was fantastic, and the rooms were a step back in time yet had all the amenities you needed.
