Mi esposa y yo viajamos desde Estados Unidos a Egipto para disfrutar de nuestras vacaciones. Después de visitar diferentes países y hospedarnos en numerosos hoteles, puedo decir que nuestra experiencia con el **New President Hotel, en Zamalek, El Cairo, fue una de las más desagradables y decepcionantes que hemos vivido como turistas.**

Desde nuestra llegada comenzaron los problemas. Nos encontramos con un establecimiento cuyas condiciones no correspondían con las fotografías y expectativas creadas al momento de reservar. Había trabajos de construcción, ruido y una habitación que no cumplía con lo que habíamos reservado.

**¿Cómo es posible que un hotel reciba turistas internacionales en estas condiciones y no sea capaz de ofrecerles una solución satisfactoria?**

Expusimos nuestra inconformidad, pero no lograron resolver el problema. La situación fue tan desagradable que **tuvimos que abandonar el establecimiento apenas una o dos horas después de llegar. ¡NO PASAMOS NI UNA SOLA NOCHE EN ESE HOTEL!**

Y como si todo esto fuera poco, cuando ya nos marchábamos, nos reclamaron el pago de un refresco que nosotros no habíamos consumido. Incluso tuvimos que hacer regresar al taxista para resolver esa situación. Terminamos pagando para evitar más inconvenientes.

**¡Increíble! Después de arruinarnos la llegada al hotel, todavía tuvimos que enfrentar ese último disgusto.**

Nos vimos obligados a buscar otro alojamiento, trasladarnos nuevamente y asumir gastos adicionales. Todo esto durante unas vacaciones internacionales que habíamos organizado y pagado con anticipación.

Pero lo más indignante vino después.

**PAGAMOS POR UNA ESTANCIA QUE NO DISFRUTAMOS Y, HASTA LA FECHA, NO HEMOS CONSEGUIDO UNA SOLUCIÓN JUSTA.**

Great location, walking distance appx 30 min to the Nile or take uber only 10 min but depends on traffic. Clean, comfortable room. Staff great, service good. Highly recommend if you are looking the hotel in Zamalec for decent price.

Facing street and very noisy every night until at least 3am. Shower has drainage problems that were not fixed. Extra charge for pod coffee.

Pros:

这是我第二次入住了。让我惊讶的是前台的员工不仅记得我，甚至还记得我离开这段时间去了哪里。他对我说欢迎回来，令我感到非常温暖，好像回家了一样。每次我到的时候都没有到正式入住的时候，但是前台仍是尽力帮我安排了。我非常感激。这次我订的是带早餐的房间。自助早餐太棒了，用餐环境一流。
