Our 3rd time here and it feels like coming home. Mosha greets us with hugs and a big smile and takes care of everything so kindly. The location is perfect – close to the port and beach but still quiet. Beautiful, very clean hotel with a lovely little pool. Breakfast by the pool is fantastic: fresh coffee and pastries, cheeses, veggies and fruit. We’ll definitely be back again!
Probably one of the best hotels in Kamares (port) about 500m from the main drag. Friendly staff. Comfortable room with good shower. Only minuses was that the toilet was shoehorned into the bathroom making it tricky to use for a big person and the breakfast was a tad underwhelming.
Significant walk to port.
George and his sister saved us when our booked accomodation was totally unsuitable. George picked us up (20 minutes away) brought us to Nymfes, then took us to a restaurant AND picked us up.
He realised how upset we were and was so very kind. Breakfast was amazing as was the rest of our stay. Clean white sheets, fluffy towels . The best. 😌😌

The property was beautiful. Excellent location 10 minutes walking to downtown area entire staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. The breakfast were perfect. I would highly recommend.
Great room, large comfy bed, lovely bed linen and towels. Friendly staff, great varied breakfast. Only 10 min walk to town/beach. Pool small but clean. Would definitely recommend.
Kamares a good base, good bus service to other places. Beach very clean, shallow sea would be great for children. Good choice of restaurants
We stayed at Nymfes for 4 nights on the beautiful island of Sifnos and would thoroughly recommend it. Located in Kamares, the main port town (though town is a stretch as it is small and perfectly walkable), Nymfes is well situated with decent views across the bay and only a short walk to the handful of waterside tavernas and coffee shops. Our rooms were side sea view, though we could happily sit on the small balcony and look over the town. Rooms, whilst compact are extremely comfortable, with good quality beds, black out blinds and excellent air con. Bathrooms are very small but have a full power shower – all recently decorated in a modern, yet fitting of the location style. Breakfast is excellent, in the open air terrace with a great selection of cereals, pastries, pies and fresh fruit available, a lot of which is home made. Great coffee – with Freddo Cappuccino available too! Pool is lovely to take a dip, though only a small number of loungers available which is not a problem with so many fantastic beaches on Sifnos. Staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Parking is available a short distance away from the property, though a shuttle is available to the ferry port.
Great stay all round, fantastic little family run hotel!
This is a fab hotel. Spotlessly clean and fresh. Great location just up a short hill at the end of the beautiful beach. 10 minute walk into the main town with loads of eating and drinking choices. Also 10 mins to fab sunbeds where fab staff wait on you and provide excellent service.
Nice breakfast choices albeit man who makes coffee could try smiling now and again.
Lovely lady on reception and lovely lad too who we had a grid laugh with about English premiership teams. Unbelievably fluent English for a 15 year old. Really great lad.
Would def go back. Sifnos is superb and this hotel was spot on.
Fabulous family run friendly hotel on a beautiful island.
Really enjoyed our stay
We were well looked after here. Peaceful location, a short walk from the beach and town. There’s a bit of hill on the way to the hotel but they will collect you from the port with your luggage. Lovely breakfast every morning. Helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
The rooms we stayed in, had the best view for the sunset. The breakfast was rich and excellent, especially the apple pies. The rooms we’re clean and neatly organised. The staff was very friendly and helpful for suggestions.
Any request was taken care of. Plenty of storage space We have been traveling for 3 weeks and they laundered a few items for us. The real perk for us was that they drove us to the port so we could have dinner in the evenings One evening they picked us up as my husband had a gout flare up
On our balcony there was a small clothes line so we could wash some items out We stayed in other places in our travels and this wasn’t offered
Our second time staying at Nymfes Hotel. This is a beautiful and clean hotel with outstanding staff, comfortable rooms, charming pool area with great views and amazing breakfast buffet. It is family owned and run and they make you feel like part of the family. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.
The hotel is very attractive and has been beautifully decorated inside and in the outside eating areas. We found the rooms a bit small to be comfortable. The bathroom was tiny including the shower which meant the bathroom floor got wet. The beds were comfortable though the pillows were lumpy and hard. The staff were very helpful and fixed our bathroom door immediately we reported a problem.
There is a small balcony which was great to dry things on. The hotel provides breakfast. They consist of pastries such as croissants and Greek Pies. Greek biscuits, cake and puddings. There is fresh orange juice and cereals and bread and jams and yoghurt. Also cheese and cold meats with olives and tomatoes. Whole fruit is available. We were there for 6 nights and would have loved a fruit salad with some seeds and nuts as the cakes and pastries became a bit much.
The hotel is well placed as it is away from the port of Kamares but close enough to walk to the restaurants there. It has a lovely view of the bay.
There is a lovely pool with sun loungers.
A down side was the noise of construction nearby. Nothing the hotel could do about this and it was quiet at night.
It is a lovely hotel with spacious rooms and an extra comfy bed. The shower is excellent, as is the breakfast. Staff are warm and friendly. They even meet you off the ferry and drive up to the hotel foc. Slightly further out of the main part of town, but there is a lovely little taverna 5 minutes walk away. Highly recommended.
Beautiful hotel set a few hundred yards from the beach and just a short walk from the town’s bars and restaurants. This hotel offers fabulous views of Kamares bay and even a welcome breeze in the evening! Breakfast is served 8.30am - 11.30am; how civilised for when on holiday! Very clean, comfortable and modern - would highly recommend!
My family (kids aged 14 and 11) stayed at Nymfes for a week in July. Mosha and her brother George are amazing hosts. The entire hotel was immaculate- our rooms, the outdoor stairs and patios, the area around the pool, the dining area, foyer, etc. The breakfasts featured a wide selection and daily freshly baked items. Our room had a view to Kamares bay- I *think* every room has a view. The bathroom is compact for sure, but it didn’t bother us.
Mosha and her family are so very warm. Nymfes was exactly what we were looking for, immaculately clean, with good breakfast/coffee, decent sized rooms, warm hosts, close to town~10 min walk into town, maybe 5 min from the beach. What more does one need?!
My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.
Mosha and George thank you to you and your staff for a lovely stay!
George also picked us up and dropped us to the port, which was handy as we had too many bags.
Sifnos has enchanted our family, in a large part bc of Mosha and Nymfes. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again! Efcharistó!
Located about a 7-minute walk from the center of town, you will not find a better option. We stayed in July for 6 nights with our teenage children. Thanks to Mosha and her brother Geoge, the welcome is warm, genuine and intimate. The hotel is immaculately clean and decorated with pottery made by one of the owners' family-member. The pool is just big enough, but don't miss swimming at the gentle turquoise beach just three minutes walk away, especially early in the day. Breakfast is delicious, with much to choose from and any number of cappuccinos from George. This is a gem of a hotel. It's the perfect base for an idyllic holiday on this as yet, not over-touristed island - the latter is its joy and strength. We will return...
Nympfes is just an incredible retreat. A quiet, stylish hotel which charming details and incredibly personalized hospitality. My daughter and I felt like we were staying with old friends. We were able to walk to town, to the beach and to a few trails, and then return "home" to our beautiful accommodation. Such a lovely summer stay in a casual and quiet beach town. Ultimate relaxation- totally our speed. Truly and home away from home.
