Important information:

In order to stay at YOTELAIR Schiphol Amsterdam, you need:
- your YOTEL booking confirmation
- proof of an outgoing flight within the next 24 hours
- your passport or ID card.

YOTEL is located inside the secure transit area at Schiphol Airport behind passport control. You will find the hotel in the Lounge 2 area (top level).

Arriving from an inbound flight:
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates)
- At the IWC Schaffhausen, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and YOTEL is on your left hand side.

Arriving from land side before 21:00:
- Go to Departures 2
- go through the Security & Passport Control,
- turn right and YOTEL is located on your right hand side.

Arriving from land side after 21:00:
- Go to Departures 3
- Go through the Security & Passport Control
- Follow the signs to Lounge 2 (D-gates), all gates on the Airport are reachable from the hotel except gate M
- At the GUCCI shop, take the escalator up to the 1st floor and you will find YOTEL on your left hand side opposite the Sushi & Noodles Bar.

Please note that it is not possible to bring large items of luggage to the hotel, but your airline may allow you to check in large items prior to your flight. You can also store them in the baggage lockers located before passport control. To locate your baggage, go to Arrivals Hall 1 and follow the signs to the Baggage Storage.

Please note that YOTEL does not accept cash payments. Only credit cards and debit card. It is possible to prepay your reservation before arrival.

Please note that this property has a strict no-smoking policy. Failure to comply with this policy will result in a EUR 250 fee.

A pia fica entupida qd usada, o box é apertadissimo molha tudo.
A cama é apertada,me senti num túmulo.
O atendente saiu da portaria deixando um bilhete que voltaria em 30',só que nao deixou o horário que ele saiu ,ele deve ter demorado 1,30 hr pra voltar.

Convenient and straight forward - it was clean but the whole place needs a refurb!
Pros:

Great location - nice receptionist - straight forward

Cons:

Hallways filthy - it is time to put new paint and new carpets - same with the room - lighting poor - controls sooooo used that you cannot see what the buttons are for. The "leather" is worn through. It is a very tired room - 3 star at best! Perhaps that is why the lighting is so bad? I do think the cleaning team do a good job.

A peaceful place to get some rest in the busy airport
Pros:

It is very convenient to have this option at the airport in the secure area. There are hotels just outside the airport and those are fine as well, but if you don't want to deal with that, it is nice to be able to stay in the airport. I have stayed in this Yotel twice in the little cabins that are mostly just sleeping compartments but have a private bathroom with shower. I find them comfortable enough to get a good rest in a quiet, dark, peaceful place.

Cons:

The check-in time was 6 PM unless I paid extra to check in a few hours earlier. I was told that if I used the Yotel app I could pick my check-in time, but the app wasn't showing me this option (or I couldn't find it), so I just paid the extra so I didn't have to wander around the airport for hours feeling exhausted from my long and stressful journey (bad weather, missed connection etc.).
